I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I earned my Master's degree from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania and have been practicing as a counselor for over 5 years. I have experience working with individuals from as young as 4 to 60+ years old. I understand the courage it can take to begin counseling; allowing another person into your life with the trust that they will provide a safe, trustworthy space to share feelings and experiences. I am committed to giving my all in every session. I will help you use evidence- based therapy interventions to make meaningful changes in your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, I will ask you to tell me about yourself and what changes you would like to make. I will explain what you can expect throughout treatment so you can make an informed decision about ongoing treatment with me.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am committed to being completely present mentally and emotionally at all times in your treatment. I never want my clients to feel as though I am the "expert" as they are the experts in their own lives. I care deeply about my effect on the lives of the individuals I treat.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I find Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to be a good evidence-based treatment to begin addressing symptoms relating to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and everyday stress.

Trauma Informed Care

To me, trauma refers to a negative life experience that has altered a person's emotional and physical wellbeing. Trauma has a large effect on beliefs about the self and the world. I am a certified TF-CBT therapist and have a lot of confidence in this evidence-based treatment for individuals aged 21 and under experiencing symptoms of trauma.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have training in applying DBT-informed interventions to help clients build skills managing intense distress.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

This approach is a wonderful way to make quick and meaningful changes without digging deep into past experiences.

Strength-Based

Using your individual strengths to make change is empowering and helps grow your independence after you are finished with therapy.
