In therapy, we work together to better understand what you’re experiencing while building coping skills that can help you manage difficult emotions and life challenges. Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my master's from the University of California, Sacramento State, and have been practicing for 10 years.
I help Individuals who are committed to personal growth and have a strong desire to explore their inner world and make positive changes.
Are you someone who is ready to take a brave step towards emotional wellness and personal growth? Do you seek a compassionate guide to help you navigate through life's challenges? If this sounds like you, then you might just be my dream client!
I am a licensed MFT clinician in California with 7 years of eclectic psychotherapy work experience. I thrive on collaborating/working with clients to help them process and manage stress, interpersonal issues, symptoms of anxiety and depression, a distorted sense of self, trauma from individual/familial abuse as well as the systemic factors therein, schizophrenia spectrum challenges/symptoms, and personality disorders (e.g., antisocial personality disorder and borderline personality disorder). I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion while maintaining strong/healthy boundaries. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs as we work through what you desire to focus on.
I have worked with a variety of clients in different mental health organizations and schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles County. I am comfortable and have experience working with trauma-related stress disorders, isolation/loneliness and suicidal thoughts. I treat both adults and older teens (18 and over) through individual psychotherapy. I ask (Socratic) questions based on therapeutic timing and will provide evidence-based psychoeducation when needed, always moving the session with clinical intuition as the process unfolds.
I am a licensed psychologist with experience across private practice, community mental‑health settings, and correctional settings. My clinical work focuses on helping patients understand the bidirectional connection between thoughts, emotions, and physical health. I provide structured and flexible, evidence‑based therapy informed by CBT, DBT, and EMDR, behavioral health, and contemporary clinical psychology.
My approach is direct and yet compassionate, collaborative and client-focused, and centered on measurable change. I help patients identify behavioral patterns, challenge distorted thinking, strengthen emotional regulation, understand the duality of the world (the tension of the opposites and how to find the fine balance in it), and build practical skills that support long‑term stability. I also integrate psychoeducation on the mind–body relationship, health behaviors, and the impact of chronic stress on psychological functioning. Evolutionary psychology and metaphors are a big part of my psycho-education as well.
I work with adults 18 to 64 years old, including individuals navigating medical illness, work‑related stress, family conflict, identity development, life and career transitions, lifestyle integration in California, and trauma histories. I also have specialized experience working with personality disorders and individuals facing complex psychosocial stressors.
As a naturalized, proud citizen of this country, I bring a unique perspective to therapy based on my life experiences, my work as a multicultural mental health professional, and my recognition not to take the freedom and opportunities we have in our country for granted.
I’m constantly working to expand my knowledge within my scope of practice. Currently, I’m completing a post‑graduate master’s degree in clinical psychopharmacology in order to integrate medical and psychological perspectives more comprehensively. This training helps me better recognize how medical and mental‑health conditions influence one another—connections that are often overlooked.
I also speak and provide therapy in Armenian and Russian.

My name is Judy Jordan and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 20 years years of professional experience in counseling with children,, adults, and families. I took an evening course in Psychology 5 when starting school, and by the end of it , I knew I wanted to become a therapist. I was drawn to understanding people on a deeper level and helping them through their struggles. With support from my dad, I left my job and went back to school starting from scratch. I loved every minute of learning and felt more certain with each class that I was on the right path. My dedication paid off...I earned straight A's and received the Academic Achievement Award in Psychology. More importantly I found a sense of purpose in supporting others on their mental health journeys.
Life can feel overwhelming at times — whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship stress, or a major life transitions. I work with adults who want a supportive space to sort through what’s going on in their lives and learn practical tools to feel more steady and confident. So many of us appear to have "everything together" on the outside but privately struggle with constant overthinking, intrusive and racing thoughts, pressure to be "perfect" , and high-functioning anxiety. My approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy with a person-centered style, meaning we focus on both real-life strategies and creating a space where you feel genuinely seen and heard.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment—and work toward meaningful change at your own pace.
I have over 6 years of experience working in the mental health and substance use field across various levels of care. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship difficulties, substance use, and more complex mental health conditions such as mood disorders and personality disorders.
I understand how difficult it can be to seek help, especially when struggling with the fear of being seen as weak or facing the stigma that often surrounds mental health and substance use. As someone who grew up in a culture where mental health was not openly discussed, I deeply value creating an environment where clients feel safe enough to be vulnerable and empowered enough to grow.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help clients build insight, develop healthier coping skills, strengthen self-confidence, establish healthy boundaries, and create lasting changes that improve their overall quality of life.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support during a difficult season of life, I'm here to walk alongside you. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more balanced, confident, and connected to the life you want to live.

Do you struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, depression, internalized and/or externalized anger, or managing emotions in general in a healthy manner? Did you experience childhood trauma and feel like you grew up too fast? Were you labeled "different," "the "caretaker," "black sheep," or "troublemaker"? I teach people how to prioritize and honor all parts of themselves, not just the "desirable" ones. We will work through parts people generally dismiss and ignore such as anger, resentment, shame, and disgust, and learn how to embrace them gracefully. I'll teach you the skills to feel more at peace.
As your therapist, I will be challenging and direct, yet empathetic and compassionate. I will challenge you through introspective questioning that will lead you to your own answers. I help you take what you've learned and apply it to your own life by giving you things to think about and work on between sessions, along with resources and handouts to remember.
I hope you'll witness yourself feeling more empowered, confident, and more at peace with yourself as my other clients have. You will notice your relationships evolve and change, which can be scary! Rest assured, you will be provided with skills to gracefully go through them.
Everything you seek is already inside you. All I’m doing is helping you remember.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from Brandman University and have been practicing for the past 10 years. I help adults struggling with life stressors coupled with anxiety/depression or other mental health issues to overcome challenges and stressors to improve their overall quality of life. I utilize an approach that is specifically tailored to the clients needs and supports their goals and healing process.
My approach integrates Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, active imagination, systems theory, and solution-focused therapy.
I believe healing involves more than changing thoughts alone. Research on neuroplasticity shows the brain and nervous system can form new pathways throughout life, creating opportunities for meaningful emotional and behavioral change. Therapy can support not only insight, but also emotional regulation, self-compassion, nervous system balance, creativity, and resilience.
I work collaboratively and compassionately, welcoming all parts of you into the therapeutic process. Together, we may explore thoughts, emotions, body awareness, imagination, patterns shaped by past experiences, and practical tools that support lasting growth and healing. You do not need to be “artistic” to benefit from expressive arts therapy.

Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from California, currently living in Florida. I received my undergraduate degree from William Jessup University, with a Master's Degree from Chapman University. I love people and I love to see relationships thrive. Research shows us that the quality of life that we have is more dependent on the quality of relationships than any other factor. I want you to have the most fulfilling and satisfying life as possible.
I’m Dr. Andy Davis, a licensed psychologist with 18 years of experience in the mental health field. Thirteen of those years were spent serving in the U.S. Air Force, where I had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
My clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, grief, personality disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, and concerns related to sex and pornography addiction. As a sex-positive therapist, I provide a safe and affirming environment for clients to explore sensitive areas of their lives without fear of judgment.
My therapeutic style is both solutions-focused and rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I believe therapy should be proactive and goal-driven, helping clients not only gain insight but also develop strategies for change. Clients often describe me as direct and honest, while also compassionate and collaborative—I strive to give practical feedback and advice that can be applied both in and outside of sessions.
I especially enjoy working with veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and young adults. These groups often face unique challenges, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside them as they navigate life’s complexities.
In addition to my clinical work, I have an extensive background in clinical research. While serving in the Air Force, I conducted sleep studies and developed modern treatment approaches for PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. This research continues to inform my practice, and I place strong emphasis on developing healthy routines, quality sleep schedules, and consistent self-care as foundations for mental health. I often work with clients to build structure into daily life, recognizing these habits play a powerful role in resilience and long-term well-being.
Above all, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to face challenges, discover new perspectives, and build lasting resilience.
My therapeutic style is grounded in a holistic and integrative framework, which empowers me to provide personalized care that aligns with each client's distinct situation and clinical needs. Linehan Board-Certified DBT Specialist | Holistic Wellness Advocate
Clinical Expertise & Background
With 25 years of clinical experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities with balance and resilience. I am a Linehan Board-Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT), a credential that reflects my deep commitment to providing the highest standard of evidence-based care.
My academic foundation began at St. Louis University (MO), where I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Social Work. This rigorous training, combined with decades of practice, allows me to offer a space that is as clinically sound as it is compassionate and nonjudgmental.
My Approach
I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy for adolescents and adults (ages 16+). My style is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your unique journey. I specialize in integrating DBT strategies to help you overcome barriers and build a life that feels truly worth living.
A Holistic Perspective
I believe that mental health is inextricably linked to physical well-being. When I’m not in the clinician’s chair, I’m likely moving. I am certified in spinning/cycling and have a deep passion for power walking, latin dance, yoga, and Pilates. This personal commitment to the mind-body connection informs my therapeutic perspective—I understand the discipline and rhythm required to foster lasting change.
The "Co-Therapist"
Healing often comes in small, furry packages. I have a 6-year-old toy Yorkie who frequently joins me. While he isn’t a registered service dog, he is an expert in providing comfort and a calming presence. He is available to join our sessions upon request (and rest assured, he is excellent at maintaining client confidentiality).
Languages & Inclusion:
My native language is English and I am proficient in Farsi. I warmly welcome Farsi-speaking clients to my practice.
I believe that even in the middle of a crisis, there is a real opportunity for growth. My path began in the theater and the study of Method Acting. This discipline focuses on how internal experience drives outward behavior. I apply this "inside-out" perspective to help you align your internal reality with your external actions. My way of working has evolved over time. I attended top universities and training programs. I was mentored by experts in the origins of trauma, addictions, and relationship difficulties. This foundation allowed me to build a successful group practice in Orange County. During that time, I taught at UC Irvine, chaired the Professional Practice Committee of the Orange County Psychological Association, and sat on its Board of Directors. In the midst of this success, I experienced a personal crisis and divorce. This led me on my own journey of growth. I began an extensive study of Buddhism and meditation which now guides how I live. I spent seven years living in Asia, where I studied with monks and cared for villagers.
What I offer now is an integration of strong academic training and Eastern teachings. My decision to become a psychologist grew from a desire to relieve suffering and transform challenges into opportunities for growth. I combine empirical psychological methods with the cultivation of an "awakened heart"—a state of genuine presence and social connection. I work to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be

There is always a path beyond what you're suffering now. For 35 years I've been privileged to help people like you look at their lives. I've helped them find ways to directly look at the pain, fear, anger, shame, depression, trauma, and other things that feel overwhelming. Most importantly, I've helped people move beyond today's focus on pain and struggle to discover new ways to manage their lives, to suffer less, to feel more space, trust, and aliveness.
