Welcome. If you are seeking relief from anxiety, depression, thoughts of regret, the effects of Traumatic life events, or are on a Spiritual journey to live your life from the place of your True Self, I am committed to helping you get there. I am a warm and compassionate clinician, dedicated to creating a therapeutic relationship where you can build on your strengths and overcome barriers. Whether you've experienced abuse, neglect, violence, grief, natural or man-made disasters, major life changes, or more, we can work toward healing and reaching peak performance. Together, and at a comfortable pace, we will gain a better understanding of your symptoms and what caused them to take on such a large role in your life. Using evidence-based treatment methods including IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) we can actually heal the underlying cause, thus relaxing current symptoms and allowing you to live your life with calm and confidence, free from internal barriers. It is my honor to assist people from all walks of life find the Calmness, Clarity, Courage and Confidence needed to effectively address life's challenges. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution/Mediation. My educational focus was social work in Indigenous communities and I have considerable experience working with folks who have been in the foster-care system. It is always my aim to affirm and be allied with BIPOC and LGBTQI2S+ individuals and communities. "We live most of our life in our head, let's make it a peaceful place" - Buddhist teaching.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will review your rights to confidentiality, I will answer any questions you have for me, I will ask standard health history questions, and together we will create a therapeutic plan that works for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been told that trauma treatment, provided in a warm but solid way, is one of my biggest strengths as a therapist.
