New to Grow
Hi, I’m a therapist based in Orange County, California, with a deep commitment to helping others and continuing to grow in my understanding of people. I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of settings—including residential treatment, PHP/IOP programs, school-based counseling, and telehealth—supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges. I take a holistic approach to therapy, with a strong interest in the mind-body connection and ways we can support healing on every level. Outside of therapy, I love spending time outdoors, traveling, exploring new coffee shops, and continuing to learn more about wellness and personal growth—values I naturally bring into the work I do with my clients.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel a mix of emotions going into your first session. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and truly heard. During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll ask some questions about what’s bringing you to therapy, your background, and what you’re hoping to work on. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once—you can go at your own pace. We’ll also talk about your goals and what you’d like to get out of therapy, as well as how I can best support you. If it’s important to you, we can incorporate your faith into our work together in a way that feels meaningful and respectful. I’ll explain how I approach therapy, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you feel comfortable moving forward. Most importantly, this is your space—to be honest, to be heard, and to begin the process of healing and growth.
Here’s a concise 3-sentence version that still feels strong and clear: --- I bring a balance of warmth, compassion, and evidence-based care, creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported in doing meaningful work. I integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused therapy, and attachment-based therapy in a personalized way, helping clients process trauma, build practical skills, and better understand their patterns and relationships. For those who desire it, I also incorporate a faith-based perspective, supporting both emotional healing and spiritual growth while focusing on lasting, real-life change.
I work best with individuals who are looking to gain deeper insight into themselves and move toward lasting, meaningful change. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by anxiety, past experiences, relationship struggles, or life transitions, and are seeking both practical tools and deeper healing. I connect well with clients who are open to the process of self-exploration and growth, whether they’re new to therapy or returning to it.
EMDR
I use EMDR to help clients safely process and heal from past trauma and distressing experiences so they no longer feel stuck or overwhelmed in the present.
Christian Counseling
I incorporate Christian counseling by integrating faith, biblical principles, and spiritual support into therapy when it aligns with a client’s beliefs and desires.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns, leading to healthier emotions and more effective behaviors.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT skills to help clients build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthier interpersonal relationships.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing to support clients in exploring ambivalence, strengthening internal motivation, and making meaningful, lasting changes.
