Hi there, I'm Robyn. Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed with life transitions or the pressure of daily life? Do you find it challenging to set healthy boundaries in relationships, both personal and work? Do you find yourself constantly ending up in toxic relationships? Are you finding yourself less satisfied, fulfilled and feeling anxious or depressed? I help people learn how to better understand the unhealthy dynamics of their relationships as well as navigate life stressors to develop better relationships and enhance life satisfaction. I will also provide skills and tools for managing anxiety or depression. I play an active role in the therapeutic process and we will work together to identify what's working and what's not working and work to bring back balance and satisfaction. My communication style is calm, warm and empathic and my goal is to create a safe and supportive space for you to feel comfortable sharing and being open.
In our first session, I will ask a lot of questions and take time getting to know you and understanding your situation. I will explain the therapy process to you and answer any questions that you may have. We will create goals in a collaborate way and will discuss what the treatment process will look like.
I am highly trained in working with people who are in toxic or abusive relationships and helping them to identify signs and patterns of unhealthy relationships and to learn how to build healthier connections both in work and personal life.

I was originally trained as a psychodynamic therapist and as such, I aim to help clients identify lifelong patterns in order to gain awareness and understanding of important pieces of the puzzle that make them who they are. We will work together to rearrange these pieces in ways that allow the client to form a more functional and positive sense of themself.
I think it is also very important to focus on how you are functioning and coping in the present. I will play an active role during sessions of helping you to identify issues, develop alternate and more effective problem solving skills and set clear and specific action steps as way of moving you towards your goals. I will provide clear and specific tools that you can use as you move through treatment.
I find CBT to be a very helpful treatment method for both anxiety and depression that works to help you identify unhealthy thought patterns. I will help you to udnerstand the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviors and we will work together to practice thought stopping and reframing these thoughts.
