Beginning therapy is a courageous step, and I commend you for taking this significant leap. I specialize in working with young adults and first-generation individuals who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, social anxiety, and trauma. Rooted in trauma-informed care, I integrate evidence-based practices like EMDR into my client-centered, collaborative approach. This ensures that each session is uniquely tailored to your needs and goals while providing a safe, supportive space where you can be your true self. I'm here whenever you feel ready to begin your transformative journey.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to genuinely connect. I invite you to share what led you to seek therapy and to provide some background about your journey. I welcome questions regarding my therapeutic approach. I understand that taking this step can feel daunting, so I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment from the very beginning.
I work from a clear, supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental space. I practice active listening and utilize open-ended questions to assist you in processing your emotions. I also like to incorporate humor in sessions. I am also calm, genuine, consistent, and patient. Together, we can make sense of the anxiety, unpack the pressure you’ve been carrying, and begin healing the patterns that leave you feeling disconnected, depleted, or not good enough.
I enjoy working with Millennial and Gen-Z adults navigating burnout, social anxiety, perfectionism, first-generation stress, and generational trauma. Many of my clients are used to being the strong one, the responsible one, or the one who keeps going, often at the expense of their own emotional well-being. I enjoy working with adults who have experienced trauma and are experiencing flashbacks, disturbed sleep, hypervigilance.
EMDR
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, which means I prioritize safety, trust, and choice in every step of the therapeutic process. I also integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help you process and release the impact of trauma, reduce distress, and reconnect with your inner strengths
Psychodynamic
In practice, I help clients notice recurring themes in their relationships, emotional responses, and sense of self. Together, we explore how past experiences—often outside of conscious awareness—may be influencing present struggles. This can include patterns of avoidance, self-criticism, or difficulty trusting others
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I offer a compassionate, collaborative space rooted in a person-centered and humanistic approach. I believe healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and supported as your authentic self. That’s what I aim to offer in therapy. I trust that you are the expert of your own life and I’m here to walk alongside you as you connect with your inner wisdom, strength, and capacity for growth
