My approach Theoretically speaking, I utilize an eclectic approach, which means that I tailor the therapy to your specific needs using the approaches that best fit your needs. I have a humanistic approach and utilize interpersonal psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and gestalt, among other approaches to aid youon your journey to heal. My communication style In the therapy room, I treat you as the expert in your life. I provide tools, coping skills, insights, and interventions to help you move past roadblocks. Cognitive Behavioral therapy and all forms of therapy in my practice are tools that help me navigate to where it is you want to go. There are forms of interventions that I may explicitly state the therapy modality, in this case CBT, and others that I do not. The main thing you need to worry about in our work together is that you are honest, trusting, and communicative.
Acceptance and Commitment therapy and all forms of therapy in my practice are tools that help me navigate to where it is you want to go. There are forms of interventions that I may explicitly state the therapy modality, in this case ACT, and others that I do not. I utlize the different important interventions case by case in the moment, therapy is a science and an art form. The main thing you need to worry about in our work together is that you are honest, trusting, and communicative.
Compassion-focused therapy and all forms of therapy in my practice are tools that help me navigate to where it is you want to go. Think of it like we are going on an adventure and this is a trail that can help lead us in the direction of your end goal, it is important only in that it is part of our journey not that it is the end goal. There are forms of interventions that I may explicitly state the therapy modality and others that I do not. The main thing you need to worry about in our work together is that you are honest, trusting, and communicative throughout treatment.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy and all forms of therapy in my practice are tools that help me navigate to where it is you want to go. There are forms of interventions that I may explicitly state the therapy modality, in this case Mindfulness, and others that I do not. There is many a times I will offer grounding techniques that directly relate to the Mindfulness Based techniques. This is not a mandatory part of my work. For all my work I take an eclectic approach all techniques will be sprinkled in based on need.
Most of my practice comes naturally from this form and school of ideology that at the basis all humans are worthy and deserve the benefit of the doubt. In reality as mentioned before there will be interventions that can be cut and dry Person centered but mostly in this particular case it is the perspective and embodiment of my work and shows in many aspects of my work with you.
