Alisa Hopsiter
You may find yourself repeating the same patterns, feeling overwhelmed by emotions, or struggling to move forward despite your best efforts to make a change. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, an eating disorder, substance use, or the lasting effects of trauma, you don't have to navigate these challenges alone.
By taking the time to understand who you are, what you’ve experienced, and what may be keeping you stuck, I can tailor interventions to what will be most effective for you.
I provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy focused on helping you understand the deeper roots of your struggles, develop healthier ways of coping, and break free from patterns that no longer serve you. I believe healing begins when you feel safe enough to be yourself, understood without judgment, and supported as a whole person rather than defined by your symptoms or past experiences. My goal is to help you build a stronger relationship with yourself, find greater balance in your life, and create meaningful, lasting change. You don't have to stay stuck in the same cycles or figure everything out on your own. If you're ready to better understand yourself and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
First session
I begin with an introductory session where you can share your story and what you hope to gain from therapy, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe, respected, and understood. You are always in control of what you share, and we will move forward in a way that honors your boundaries and nervous system. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful change while building on your strengths and resilience.

Ongoing work together
As we continue working together, each session will build upon the progress and insights gained in previous sessions. Our work will explore underlying roots of the challenges that you are experiencing, identifying patterns that may be contributing to your current difficulties, and developing effective strategies for lasting change. Together, we will establish both short and long term treatment goals that are meaningful to you and realistic. My clients receive therapy that helps them develop insight, skills and confidence necessary to achieve their goals and make their experience in therapy a successful one.
