Hi, I’m Maya David, LCSW. I help hard-working professionals break free from anxiety, depression, and self-doubt so they can become the person they want to be. I specialize in working with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, or both—often connected to past trauma—and who are ready to make meaningful changes. My role is to give you a safe, compassionate space to be honest about what you’re going through, and to guide you toward practical solutions that truly work.
During our first session we will review your intake questionnaire and discuss what it is that brought you to seek therapy. The first session is very relaxed so that we can get comfortable with each other and so that you can decide if you'd like to continue sessions with me in the future. There is no pressure. I'm here to listen.
My style is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and focused on progress. I’ll support you in making changes at a pace that feels manageable, while also challenging you to step into new ways of thinking and living.

CBT is a well-established evidence-based treatment method. CBT helps people to identify and challenge the negative thoughts and assumptions and replace them with more realistic and positive thought processes. If we can change our thoughts, we can change our actions and change our lives.
