I am passionate about helping individuals cultivate healthy relationships with themselves and others. My approach is warm, compassionate, and goal-oriented, creating a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. If you find yourself struggling with overthinking, intrusive thoughts, setting healthy boundaries, or achieving a satisfying work-life balance, know that you do not have to navigate these challenges alone. Therapy can help you uncover and strengthen the tools and resilience that already exist within you. With years of experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions, I am committed to helping individuals build confidence, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful change. Using a person-centered approach, I believe you are the expert on your own life, and together we will create a treatment plan that aligns with your unique goals and values. My goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being while navigating the challenges you are facing today. I look forward to partnering with you on your wellness journey and supporting you every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, my primary focus will be getting to know you and building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, comfort, and understanding. We will discuss what has brought you to therapy, explore your current challenges, and identify the goals you hope to achieve through the counseling process. This initial session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your concerns, and determine whether our therapeutic approach feels like a good fit for your needs. Together, we will begin developing a personalized plan to support your growth, healing, and overall well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, I strive to provide the individualized care each client needs. Whether that means offering a supportive space to sit with difficult emotions, providing encouragement and constructive feedback, or helping you develop practical strategies for growth, I tailor my approach to meet you where you are. I consider myself to be genuine, approachable, and down-to-earth. I value authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and believe meaningful progress comes from a balance of compassion, honesty, and accountability. While I will support and encourage you throughout your journey, I will also challenge you when appropriate to help you move toward your goals. Therapy does not have to be all serious all the time. There is room for both healing and humor, and I believe that laughter can be an important part of the process. Together, we will create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to rediscover their strengths, build confidence, and step into their authentic selves. Whether you are struggling with self-doubt, people-pleasing, life transitions, or feeling stuck, I provide a supportive space to help you find your voice, strengthen your self-esteem, and create a life that reflects your values and potential. I work best with individuals who are ready to actively participate in therapy, explore personal growth, and apply insights gained in sessions to their daily lives

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. Through CBT, clients develop healthier coping strategies, improve problem-solving skills, and learn practical techniques to manage symptoms and achieve their treatment goals.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. By providing information about mental health symptoms and treatment approaches, I empower clients to make informed decisions and actively participate in their care.

Strength-Based

My practice incorporates strengths-based therapy by helping clients recognize patterns of resilience, adaptability, and success in their lives. Together, we use these strengths as a foundation for healing, problem-solving, and sustained personal development.

Trauma Informed Care

I integrate trauma-informed care by understanding how past experiences may influence current thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Through a compassionate and strengths-based lens, I support clients in developing insight, fostering self-compassion, and creating lasting change
