I'm a relational, cognitive-behavioral therapist with over 15 years of experience helping folks navigate anxiety, OCD, depression, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or harsh self-criticism. Together, we identify the beliefs and patterns that may be keeping them stuck and work toward a more balanced, compassionate, and authentic way of living.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, I will be asking you a lot of questions, while I can guarantee it will not feel like an interview! I am flexible and happy to let our conversation go where it needs to go while also being sure to gather the information I need to assess what brings you to therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am warm, humorous, and disarming. Clients describe me as being "really normal and real". I have long standing clients who keep coming back because they feel comfortable with me and know that I am never judging. I am not a quiet therapist. I will engage, push back and challenge you, but all in due time as our relationship and trust builds!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am a relational therapist heavily influenced by cognitive therapy modalities. I have over fifteen years of experience across many different groups, but have found myself more drawn to working with adults with anxiety. I have a specialization in perinatal mental health, and I am currently working more with those dealing with OCD. I am utilizing ACT as a therapeutic modality with OCD clients, as well as client dealing with perinatal depression and anxiety. I also enjoy working with those who like to incorporate their faith, but this is never something I am bringing into the therapy space without a client's explicit permission and request.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps you stop getting stuck in difficult thoughts and emotions. You'll learn practical skills to handle them more effectively while taking steps toward the life, relationships, and values that matter most to you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps you catch the negative or unhelpful thoughts that fuel anxiety, stress, and depression. By changing these patterns, you can feel better and make choices that move you toward your goals.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

CPT helps you make sense of trauma's impact on your life. By examining unhelpful beliefs that formed after traumatic experiences, you can reduce symptoms, regain confidence, and move toward healing.

Relational

The relationship we build in therapy matters. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe, accepted, and genuinely connected. My goal is to provide a supportive, authentic space where you can explore difficult experiences and grow.
