New to Grow
Life can feel overwhelming when trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges take center stage. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as a whole person—not just a collection of symptoms. I work collaboratively with clients to help them make meaning of their experiences, reconnect with their values, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. I specialize in trauma and have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use concerns. I also work with couples and families, supporting healthier communication, deeper understanding, and more secure connections. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply seeking clarity and growth, I aim to meet you where you are with compassion and respect. My approach is rooted in humanistic and existential therapy, emphasizing personal agency, self-awareness, and the belief that change is possible—even in the midst of pain. I take an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grief work, and solution-focused interventions, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. Healing is not about “fixing” yourself—it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and learning new ways to relate to your experiences. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and move forward with intention.
During the first therapy session, I focus on establishing therapeutic rapport and building trust with the client. I work to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, seen, and comfortable sharing their experiences. I also look for client buy-in by collaborating with them on their goals for therapy and helping them feel actively involved in the therapeutic process. In the initial session, I gather relevant background information, explore presenting concerns, assess strengths and coping strategies, and begin identifying areas the client would like to work on. My approach emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and collaboration to help foster a strong therapeutic alliance from the beginning.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to integrate evidence-based interventions with a compassionate, person-centered foundation. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, solution-focused interventions, and strengths-based approaches while grounding my work in an Existential Therapy and humanistic lens. I aim to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and lived experiences while also supporting them in finding meaning, authenticity, and personal empowerment. My therapeutic style is collaborative, empathetic, and nonjudgmental, allowing clients to feel safe, heard, and actively involved in the therapeutic process. I incorporate mindfulness and grounding techniques to support emotional regulation and present-moment awareness, while solution-focused and strengths-based methods help clients recognize their resilience, build on existing strengths, and work toward achievable goals. Through this integrative approach, clients often develop increased self-awareness, healthier coping strategies, improved emotional regulation, and greater confidence in navigating life challenges. I strive to help clients feel empowered, supported, and capable of creating meaningful and lasting change.
The clients I am best positioned to serve would be clients who are 18 years and older. Clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulties with life transitions, struggling with grief. Additionally, clients who have experienced trauma, work-life balance. I am best positioned to serve couples struggling with loss or having relational issues, as well as families. I can additonally serve clients struggling with addiction.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My experience with CBT involves helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more balanced and realistic thinking. I use interventions like thought challenging, behavioral activation, Psychoeducation in order to provide clients with knowledge on the principles of CBT, coping skills training, and homework assignments to support behavioral and emotional change.
Existential
My experience with existential approaches involves helping clients find values and meaningful purpose in their lives. I use existential approaches to help clients explore identity, and personal responsibility. I support clients in developing greater self-awareness and authenticity while processing life transitions, anxiety, grief, and questions about purpose and direction
