New to Grow
I use a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach that draws from CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and other evidence-based techniques. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical tools to manage stress and emotions, and work through difficult or traumatic experiences when appropriate. I’ll meet you where you are and work at your pace, with the goal of helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and confident as you move toward meaningful change.
I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we’ll identify goals that are meaningful to you and create realistic steps to help you reach them. We’ll build on your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and regularly reflect on your progress. As your needs evolve, we’ll adjust our approach so therapy continues to feel supportive, purposeful, and aligned with the changes you want to make.
I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences, while being an empathetic and supportive partner. When we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm, patient, and compassionate. I’m also willing to respectfully challenge you when needed, helping you consider new perspectives and take steps toward meaningful change.
I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge and reframe them, develop healthier coping strategies, and practice new behaviors that support their goals. In my work, I often use CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, identifying triggers, behavioral activation, problem-solving, mindfulness, and homework/practice between sessions.
