Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in TN and licensed in California and Tennessee. I received my training from Western Theological Seminary graduating in 2007 with a focus on attachment issues. I have worked with a non-profit agency counseling, adopting, and fostering families for over 15 years. I began my private practice in 2020 after recognizing the high demand for mental health practitioners during a difficult time in our history.
Hi! I’m Jordan and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) because I believe our mental health affects everything we do. There are lots of different ways to do therapy, but I will always make sure that you have both a non-judgmental space to share, and that you walk away with practical skills to help you deal with life’s challenges. My goal is to help you feel heard and leave empowered. I utilize an attachment framework to focus on processing key relationships in your life, while offering DBT skills and other practical tools to help regulate your emotions so that you can respond well in any situation. I live in San Diego and love working with adult clients of all different backgrounds and experiences.
Hi all!
Have you ever wondered what life would be like free of anxiety and depressive symptoms? Are you feeling lost and in need of a purpose? I love helping folks recover from issues like anxiety, depression, OCD and complex post-traumatic stress. Healing and recovery are possible! I will work with you to establish small achievable goals we can take baby steps toward. I also believe in the importance of being able to explore and process feelings that were not safe to share in the past. Healing is a process that takes time and I will help guide you. I can help you get to the root of the issue and teach you skills you can use all of your life in various situations. I do inner-child/ inner-adult work for those interested, but I also use the more practical REBT to help shift rigid perspectives that keep us stuck. I know seeking therapy can feel scary and intimidating, you have already taken the brave step of seeking assistance. I will meet you with patience and empathy and help you realize the strength you never knew you had. Let's work together!
Have you been a little more stressed than usual? Are you having a hard time adjusting to a change or shift in your life? Or maybe you have been struggling with sexual challenges. I empower adults to better navigate anxiety and various life stressors. From struggling with relationships to decreasing anxiety, or even just wanting to become the best version of yourself. I am a therapist that provides a safe space for you to explore, navigate, and heal from the obstacles that keep you from thriving! I use a collaborative approach and am here to support, empower, and honor you and the person you want to be.

Hello! I have been continuously licensed as a Clinical Psychologist since 1999. I grew up poor in inner city Cleveland. I was the 1st in my family to complete a college degree of any kind. I was a truck driver before I became a psychologist. I have a neuromuscular disability which effects my lower arms and hands and lower legs and feet. I use a wheelchair for long distances but I can walk a little. I graduated with a BA in psychology from Cleveland State University in 1992. I graduated with my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago in 1998.
Good day, I am Stewart. I am a relational therapist; I use the therapeutic relationship to do meaningful work for you in my practice. I provide client-centered psychodynamic therapy with a focus on CBT, DBT, and mindfulness strategies to help you find your own way to your goals. I'm a helpful guide who believes in your ability to find your own solutions. I offer non-judgmental, professional support for people seeking perspective and insight into their issues. I have worked with people with severe mental health and addiction issues in the past at non profit organizations, which has allowed me to hone my therapeutic skills in clinical environments where there was great mentorship and support.
Sometimes, as adults, we discover that our ability to make decisions; to love someone; to accept the love of another; to feel peace and inner calm; to find the motivation to accomplish goals; to forgive a betrayal; and to experience self-acceptance and confidence can feel limited, creating distress and discomfort. Thus begins the journey of an examined life. When you explore how you operate, what influences your choices, and what has contributed to your experiences, you begin the process of enriching your internal resources. This expansion of resources broadens your choices and options in life and holds the potential for higher functioning and greater happiness.
As a therapist, I provide a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment. I am easy to talk to, interactive, respectfully direct, and mindful of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals and utilize each individual’s strengths and resources, supporting the discovery of an authentic self that experiences life in a richer and more satisfying way.
I’m a warm and very real therapist who helps people understand their emotions, reduce worry and stress, and create relationships that feel healthier and aligned with what matters most to you. I show up with genuine care and curiosity and I’m not afraid to use a little humor and connection to help things feel less heavy while we navigate the hard moments together.
Welcome! I'm Ian, and I'm here to help you navigate life's challenges and uncover the strength to create meaningful change. Starting therapy can feel both exciting and intimidating, but my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore concerns like anxiety, depression, and self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication, healthy boundaries, and practical tools to enhance their relationships and overall quality of life.
Therapy is a powerful tool for personal growth, and together, we can work toward building the fulfilling life you deserve. I'm here when you're ready to take that step.

Good to meet you! Please, call me Annita. To begin with--therapy means something is "right" with you, as you listened to your heart asking to be heard by someone in a safe, non-judgmental place of acceptance. Now let me ask: anxiety or depression, histories or memories of childhood or adult traumatic events, grief and loss of a beloved family member, friend, or pet to whom you were closely connected, navigating chronic illness--have any of these challenges disrupted your life so it feels intolerable? Let me hear your heart--not with a stethoscope, but with listening to you. My 30+ years of previous career in nursing taught me that 'listening' to words from the heart is one of the most important aspects of a relationship--not just hearing the words but feeling the emotional impact as well. Having worked in adult and pediatric populations, I understand that all ages and populations deserve respect, kindness and compassion. I have worked as a mental health clinician with adolescents, teens, transitional age youth, young and older adults. From a nursing perspective, I am very aware of medical issues that often affect our mental health and may need assessment by a physician to provide the best treatment, while I offer the skills that increase abilities to cope with those needs. I provide experiences in your session to help you realize your worth, build coping skills, regain confidence as well as compassion for all you have experienced in life, continue to grow through challenges, and progress toward the goal you desire. ** FLEXIBLE HOURS for you as needed for work schedules
As a therapist, I bring a deeply empathetic and relationship-centered approach to the work I do. I believe meaningful change happens within the safety of a genuine connection, so I prioritize building trust, understanding, and collaboration with each client. My style is warm and encouraging, offering both compassion and gentle challenge when needed. I am motivated by the belief that growth is always possible, and I strive to help clients recognize their strengths, clarify their values, and move toward lasting, meaningful change with confidence and hope.

My journey to becoming a therapist started 29 years ago on a personal recovery journey, recovering from personal trauma and addiction in the entire system growing up including family, and coming from a low SES background, therapy became a way to reconcile the change I was going through in my life. Working with and helping others has always been a calling of mine, and becoming a therapist was a natural extension of that ongoing work on both myself and in my work with others.
Beginning with a humanistic approach means meeting the client where they are at, and then conceptualizing the approach with a combination of humanistic and positive psychology, systems theory, and recovery-oriented systems of care.

I provide a supportive, grounded space where people feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal. My approach is integrative and holistic, building resilience, strength, and movement toward meaningful change. I am an LCSW and a military veteran specializing in trauma and addiction. I believe that effective therapy must be a safe foundation, built on unwavering commitment and ethical practice. My practice is a collaborative space where rapport is established through trust while a custom plan of treatment is mutually established specifically for resolving resistance to your wellness and achieving long-term stability.
All things are interconnected. To feel better, you have to act better. To feel better, you have to think better. To think better, you have to feel better. To act better, you have to think better. To think, feel, and act better, you have to care for your physical health. To care for your physical health, you have to think, feel, and act better. Each has a corresponding effect on the other. However, the aspect of ourselves that we have the most direct control of is what we do, our acting. While we can influence other people, we cannot control other people. A great source of conflict and unhappiness results from our efforts to control others. If you want better relationships, the only thing we can control is what we do, how we choose to relate. We are responsible for what we do. Others are responsible for what they do. Accepting this fundamental reality and thinking, feeling, and acting in accordance with it is how we increase our experience of power, freedom, belonging, meaning and, very importantly, fun.
My professional experience includes over 30 years of post-Master’s clinical work, including leadership experience in foster care, chemical abuse and addiction, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and crisis intervention, de-escalation, and hospitalization. I am experienced in working with ages three through the elderly. I have worked extensively with youth and families, diverse populations and life issues, providing services in various settings, including family homes, schools, juvenile detention facilities, jails, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.
Hello!
Are you feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, adjustment concerns, or relationship challenges? I'm here to help. My approach is collaborative and supportive. I'm focused on helping you build and practice new skills, deepen your understanding of yourself, and regain confidence as you navigate life's challenges. The symptoms and sensations of post-traumatic stress, anxiety, grief, and depression can often feel debilitating, and may leave us bereft of hope that things will ever get better. My main goal and focus is to facilitate healing and collaborate with clients to carve out a path towards a greater sense of inner peace, meaning, and connection. I find that cultivating psychological flexibility and emotional regulation will often facilitate this endeavor and aim to guide and support my clients to this end. I embrace an eclectic approach to psychotherapy, borrowing from multiple traditions and theories of treatment. I tend to use psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am a strong advocate of integrative psychology and finding creative solutions to life's challenges and stressors.

I have experience providing individual and family therapy, case management and crisis intervention. I’m a Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) who offers a warm, grounded space to slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and create meaningful change. My style is relational and attachment-informed—meaning we pay attention to patterns that show up in relationships (including ours), and how earlier experiences may shape the way you cope, connect, or protect yourself today. I’m also strengths-based and practical: we’ll build on what’s already working while using CBT tools to reduce overwhelm, challenge unhelpful thought loops, and practice skills that support steadier mood, boundaries, and healthier relationships.
The impact my clients often experience is feeling more emotionally stable and confident in themselves, with a clearer understanding of their triggers and patterns. Over time, many people report improved self-compassion, stronger communication, more secure attachment in relationships, and an increased ability to tolerate difficult emotions without shutting down or spiraling. My goal is for you to leave therapy with both deeper insight and real-life tools so you can feel more connected, empowered, and able to live with authenticity and intention.
