I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy using a holistic, trauma-informed approach. I understand that beginning therapy isn't easy, even for those who have previous experiences. I will take the time to ensure you feel comfortable and hear your story to help through any challenges that may be contributing to depression, anxiety or relationship concerns!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We will focus on getting to know each other and what brings you to therapy. I'll ask questions about current concerns, your background and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. I hope you will find I am understanding and will always want you to share at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe in working with you in a down-to-earth, collaborative way to make therapy a supportive and empowering experience. I have training in several modalities but above all I am client-centered and understand therapy is personal and should be genuine to each person.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and are open to growth, even if they feel nervous about the process. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges and want deeper insight and practical tools. They value a collaborative, supportive space where they can be honest and feel truly seen.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we'll notice patterns that might be keeping you stuck and gently challenge thoughts that aren't helpful. I'll teach you tools you can use in everyday life to manage anxiety, depression, and stress more effectively. CBT is collaborative, so we will work as a team to create meaningful change.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help your brain process painful or overwhelming experiences so they feel less intense. We focus on how the past is affecting you now, without retelling every detail. EMDR helps your nervous system let go of stuck memories so you can feel more calm and empowered.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I use CPT to help you look at how difficult experiences may have shaped the way you see yourself, others, or the world. Together, we gently examine and challenge unhelpful beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. The goal is to help you develop more balanced, realistic thoughts so you can feel less distress and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Our work is guided by you. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can be fully yourself and feel truly heard. I trust that you are the expert in your own life, and together we can create a safe environment for growth, insight, and change.
