Hey there, my name is Kandice, and I have been providing therapy to children and adults since 2019. I received my license in February 2024. I like to create a calm and safe place for my clients to feel comfortable and ready to share what causes them shame, guilt, and anxiety. I also like to be relatable to my clients by sharing some of my experiences, so you're not so alone in this journey. I will model and encourage my clients to use assertive communication and healthy boundaries with themselves and others to help regain control over their depression and anxiety. I am confident in talking about the pains of suicidal ideation and self-harm. I will confidently provide my clients with the skills to stop self-harm and build the confidence, self-esteem, and support network needed to feel better. Together, we will discover what is going on below the surface to make the changes necessary to help.

I provide individual, dyadic and family therapy to communities from diverse backgrounds. For years, I have worked with adults and adolescents struggling with clinical depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, mood disorders etc. I primarily conduct individual sessions when working with adolescents or adults, unless family sessions are requested and determined to be appropriate. For Telehealth, I primarily work with adults (18-55yrs). I also have specialized training in working with young children (under 10yrs.), who have endured adverse childhood experiences. My approach is trauma informed, person centered, and I believe that the therapeutic relationship plays a crucial role in the healing process.
As a therapist, I aim to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and patterns with honesty and curiosity. I work with individuals navigating challenges such as self-esteem, stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support practical skill-building, emotional regulation, and improved communication. I also incorporate elements of Jungian psychology to help clients develop deeper insight into themselves, their relational patterns, and the meaning behind their experiences.
My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, self-aware, and empowered, while supporting lasting change, healing, and a greater sense of clarity and inner balance.

Hi! My name is Alex and I'm excited about the potential of working with you in developing a sense of integration and resilience in your life. Are you feeling stuck? Dissatisfied in your relationships and/or work? Disconnected from a sense of deeper purpose? Feel that there is the potential for greater richness and joy in life, but it is just out of reach? Rooted in a compassionate curiosity, our work would explore these themes through inquiry into the dynamic between your conscious, unconscious, somatic, and relational self. Using a holistic lens we can unpack the how's and why's of your patterns; gaining insight into your emotions and experiences, and work towards greater self-awareness and well-being.
From a somatic, psychodynamic approach we will focus on the connection between the body and the mind, and how emotions and past experiences can be stored in the body and affect an your mental and physical well-being. Through the use of techniques such as mindfulness, breathwork, and body-based exercises, you will become more aware of your physical sensations and how they are connected to your thoughts and emotions. This may also include exploring early childhood experiences, family dynamics, and past traumas, as well as working through issues related to relationships, self-esteem, and personal growth.
Hello, my name is Virginia.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage Family Therapist in California. I have experience working with various ages from 3 to 50-years-old. I have worked in community-based mental health services to intense services with children, youth, and adults.
Do you ever feel mixed emotions about specific events, situations, or relationships? Do you want to become more self-aware of yourself as an individual and increase your motivation?
I love exploring self-awareness and self-love. I have a very open-minded style but can also be transparent to help motivate and challenge you. I enjoy making a difference in others’ lives. I believe that “On the other side of FEAR is SUCCESS.” Let’s work together to create change.
I’m Kimberly M. Brooks, LCSW. I help adults and couples facing anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship strain, and emotional overwhelm find clarity and peace. My style is warm, direct, and grounding. I offer practical tools, honest insight, and optional faith-integrated support to help you heal, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with confidence. Clients often tell me they appreciate the calm space I create, the clarity that comes from honest conversations, and the steady guidance that helps them move forward.
I believe that therapy can heal, but I also know that telling a stranger about your deepest pain can be a strange feeling. Perhaps you've been feeling sad, depressed or worried, and hopeless that anything in your life can change. Or maybe you aren't sure what you would even want help with. You know you feel bad, but if someone were to ask you "How can I help?", you aren't sure what you would say.
These problems can feel permanent and unsolvable. After all, something feels broken and unfixable, so how could you not feel that it takes all the energy you have just to get up in the morning and go about your day? Depression or anxiety can also feel isolating, as if nobody else could possibly understand. You may have even received advice from people who you feel mean well but can't understand what you're going through.
Depression and anxiety are not permanent or unfixable, and therapy can help. Imagine feeling peace of mind, and excited about life and its possibilities. It starts by learning about you and going at your pace. As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 16 years experience working with adults and teens, I've seen therapy work, and I feel lucky that I get to be part of that journey for others.

I'm here to help you find solutions that will help improve your life and help you connect with your values. We can try out several different research backed therapies until we find what is most helpful for you.

I’m a humanistic and compassionate therapist who works with adults ages 18 to 64 navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. My approach is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change.
I view therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together to explore your unique experiences and uncover the strengths that already exist within you. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I aim to understand the whole person—your values, relationships, history, and hopes for the future.
Whether you're facing a difficult season or seeking deeper self-understanding, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll identify what healing looks like for you and walk that path side by side.

Have you lived through an event or series of events that impact your daily living? The human spirit can survive some of the most tragic and heartbreaking experiences. These experiences can leave us feeling guilty, confused, frustrated, and hopeless. I specialize in treating trauma in adolescents and adults by empowering clients to redefine these events and allow themselves to practice self-compassion. I also treat the co-occurring disorders that often accompany trauma, such as anxiety, depression, and grief and loss.
I primarily use a trauma-informed perspective and knowledge from cognitive neuroscience to deliver holistic mental health services. My hope is that clients gain insight into normal trauma responses to help reframe the guilt and shame that may arise. I want to collaborate with clients to discover where their inner critic thoughts and feelings originate from and decipher whether they are based on reality or are a result of your brain and body being trapped in survival mode.
If you have stumbled upon this page, this should signal to you that your body and mind already recognize the need for change and acceptance. You have been built for resiliency! Let’s uncover it together.

Greetings! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Clinical Supervisor based in California. I received my Masters from the University of Washington and have been practicing since 2006. In my personal experiences, I am a mother to a biological child and a step child. My early years were impacted by toxic relationships, substance abuse, divorce, parental suicide, blending of families. Setting and enforcing boundaries did not come naturally to me and is something I am continuously working on. In my experience as a therapy client, I have disliked working therapists who are blank slates. Therapy is a relational experience and I bring my wisdom and personal experiences into the therapeutic process when appropriate. I help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and avoidant and self-destructive behaviors become the best versions of themselves.
I have been providing mental health services since 2003. Throughout my career I have worked communities large and small and have provided services to client of all ages and clinical presentations. I have worked with Foster Youth struggling with attachment all the way to helping Older Adults find purpose and meaning. I specialize in trauma, particularly that which occurs in the context of the relationship. I enjoy working with couples and individuals struggling in relationships. I like to focus on promoting healthy connections with others and how to ensure this creates a lasting structure to manage life's challenges. In addition to this I encourage areas of strength to ensure our life has purpose.

I received my Masters from Avila University in Kansas City and have been practicing for over a decade. I have adults struggling with life problems and aid them in regaining control over worry, panic, fear, or dread in order to become the best version of themselves.
I prefer the one-on-one relationship that working in individual psychotherapy provides. My philosophy is that the bond that I build with you is the most important aspect of your journey. If you are able to trust me at a time when you are most vulnerable then I am succeeding. My approach is to collaborate with you and develop a treatment plan and therapeutic style that is right for you. All of my clients are unique, and I feel that your therapeutic voyage should reflect that. Balancing work, personal responsibilities, relationships, and health can feel like an uphill battle! Don't even get me started on the never ending laundry basket, the appointments you haven't made yet, and the to-do list that is lost somewhere in the notebook you can't find. You might feel isolated and like no one else seems to be struggling the way you are. You might doubt that your experience is even real and have thoughts like, "maybe I am just lazy!" Maybe your relationships are suffering because your loved ones don't understand why you show up inconsistently. Maybe your self-esteem is low because you can't understand why you have been able to function really well in some areas or in some stages of life, but right now you are really struggling. Maybe you are really afraid to open up to a therapist because you have had a string of very invalidating experiences with doctors, therapists, and others you were hoping would help you.
I'm Kim. I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker, trauma therapist, ADHDer, mom, serial hobbiest, and corgi lover. I am neurodiversity affirming and a safe therapist for gender and sexuality diverse folks. I have lots of experience working with people who are struggling with PTSD/C-PTSD, ADHD, parenting issues, chronic pain, and life transitions. I am all too familiar with the gifted-kid to anxious-adult pipeline. I understand that for some people, really hard things may come easily and really basic things may be very hard. I love working with people who are tired of repeating the same old cycles and are ready to make a change.
Hi! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Gallaudet University. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I would describe my own as warm, caring, non-judgmental, compassionate, sensitive, respectful, knowledgeable, experienced and committed. I’ve been using CBT in my practice. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life
Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
Hi there, I am Joanna
Have you ever gone to therapy and found it hard to open up because the sessions appear rigid and impersonal, and maybe you felt judged? In my practice is my goal to lead sessions in a non-judgmental way, with the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. I like to describe my relationship with clients as a relationship among equals. My role in the session is to help you process some of the challenges you are experiencing and offer skills that can help create the change you want to see in your life. My theoretical orientation is dialectical behavioral therapy and I try to hold the balance between acceptance and change, this means accepting that although things might be difficult at this moment we can learn new behaviors so life can be improved. My goal is to help clients increase their overall satisfaction in life and relationships. I am also trained in trauma work to help clients process traumatic experiences.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring a blend of professional expertise, lived experience, and deep compassion to every therapeutic relationship. My journey began long before I entered the mental health field—shaped by my years as a military veteran, where resilience, service, and human connection became the foundation of my work. Today, as a clinician and a mother, I approach therapy with the same grounded empathy, strength, and relational focus that guide me in both motherhood and service.
I specialize in supporting individuals living with severe mental illness, including those navigating complex trauma, mood disorders, psychosis, and long-term emotional or behavioral challenges. I understand that many of the people I work with have faced experiences that disrupted their sense of safety, identity, and hope. My role is to offer a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to move at a pace that honors their unique history and needs. I use trauma-informed, evidence-based practices rooted in acceptance, mindfulness, and emotional regulation to help clients build stability and reconnect with their strengths.
At the heart of my work is a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves a life worth living. I am passionate about helping people rediscover that possibility—whether through rebuilding coping skills, strengthening relationships, exploring values, or learning how to hold their pain without letting it define them. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and centered on the person as a whole, not just their diagnosis or past experiences.
If you’re seeking a therapist who will meet you with authenticity, patience, and unwavering support, I’m here to walk alongside you as you create a life that feels meaningful, grounded, and truly your own.
Hi, I’m Teal Berkowitz, an LMFT based in California. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, and emotional trauma. My approach is personalized, integrating techniques from CBT, attachment-based therapy, and EMDR to create a supportive space for healing. I work with you to explore your past and present, empowering you to break free from negative patterns and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships with yourself and others.
My name means “Light,” and my goal is to help you rediscover yours. As a BIPOC therapist, I bring a culturally sensitive, holistic approach to healing. Together, we’ll shed light on your challenges and explore compassionate, practical solutions to help you move forward.
My work is rooted in the transformative power of mindfulness, spirituality, and self-awareness. I integrate psychoanalysis, faith-based counseling, and holistic healing to create a space where you can reconnect with your authentic self and cultivate resilience.
I specialize in supporting adults facing anxiety, trauma, depression, and men’s issues. My approach blends psychotherapy with spiritual exploration and self-discovery — helping you realign with your purpose and inner peace.
I believe every person holds untapped potential and innate wisdom. My role is to hold a nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, supported, and understood. Through our work together, we’ll turn over the stones of your experience to reveal clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of direction.
I’ve personally walked through profound loss and transformation — including a near-death experience and the passing of my beloved mother to cancer. These experiences deepened my faith in the human spirit and in our collective ability to heal and shine again.
Wherever you are on your journey, I’m here to help you grow and remember who you truly are — a light meant to shine.
My ideal client is someone who needs help reaching their highest potential and decrease emotional suffering. They should be ready and willing to begin receiving guidance on how to reach their peak. I believe in self-determination and that individuals can find solutions with the right support.
I offer a person centered approach that relies on the client's self-determination. I am experienced working those with dual diagnosis, mood disorders, and anxiety compassionately to help them manage symptoms.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have more questions. I am always willing to answer questions to make sure my services are a good fit.

Hello my name is Belinda Valdivia and I am a bilingual therapist licensed in California and have been working in different settings with diverse populations. Are you constantly worried about your problems and having difficulties controlling your anxious thoughts? Do you feel sad and low motivation to do the activities you once enjoyed? Have you experienced recent or past trauma that you have tried to avoid thinking about but keeps replaying in your mind? Is your child having issues managing his emotions and not sure how to help them? Having difficulties sharing how you feel with others? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I can help guide and empower you to meet your therapeutic goals.
I have been providing for the last ten years individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults as well as family therapy. As your therapist my goal is for you to have a safe space to share your thoughts and feelings and feel that someone is listening to you without judgment.

I’ve had the honor of working closely with children, families, and individuals healing from various forms of trauma and impacts of mental health from a cultural lens. Along the way, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the many different ways family life can shape us, sometimes in unexpected or challenging ways. I’ve worked in a variety of roles and settings, as a Director, Clinical Supervisor, across government agencies, to private and mental health centers, which has helped me see each person’s story from many angles.
My approach is compassionate yet direct, down-to-earth, and tailored to you. Whether you’re looking for support for yourself, your family, or your relationships, I’m here to walk alongside you with kindness and respect. Together, we’ll create a safe space to explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.
As a therapist, I am committed to helping you have healthier, more balanced, harmonious lives and relationships. My therapy approach includes traditional and holistic healing techniques that involve mind, body, heart and spirit as well as things unseen.
My years of experience in community mental health include individual, child, couples, co-parenting and family therapy. I am able to relate well to many different cultural, ethnic, socio-economic groups. With an M.A. in transpersonal psychology and an M.B.A. from University of Chicago plus 25 years of corporate experience, I use a broad range of skills to help my clients explore their needs and goals. As a certified yoga and meditation teacher, many of my clients have learned mindfulness techniques that enhance their recovery.
All of us need confidential support for different things at times. My job is to compassionately support you in what you need, with your values, to have the life that you want.
Hello! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I received my master's in 2014 and have been practicing for 11 years. Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Registered Art Therapist based in California. I also have certification in substance use disorders. I practice from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, utilizing integrative techniques which include CBT, mindfulness practices, somatic approaches, psychodynamic, internal family systems and art therapy. I tailor treatment to best suit your needs. I understand how hard it can be to make the decision to work through difficulties. My goal is to help clients develop insight into their thinking and behavioral patterns by exploring the root causes of their anxiety, depression, or trauma and identify the underlying issues contributing to their distress. This process of self-discovery can be challenging, but it is also incredibly empowering.
