Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers therapy in both English and Spanish. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both emotional insight and practical tools. I help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, shift unhelpful patterns, and feel more steady and confident in their day-to-day lives. Therapy with me is a supportive partnership where your goals guide the work we do together. También ofrezco terapia en español para quienes se sienten más cómodos expresándose en su idioma natal, y adapto mi enfoque para que se sienta culturalmente sensible y accesible.
In our first session, I’ll focus on understanding what’s bringing you to therapy and the concerns you’d like support with. We’ll talk through your current stressors, begin identifying goals, and start exploring any patterns that may be contributing to how you’re feeling. I’ll also walk you through my approach and answer any questions you may have so you know what to expect going forward. If you feel more comfortable speaking Spanish, I’m happy to conduct sessions in Spanish. Si te sientes más cómodo(a) hablando en español, podemos realizar las sesiones en ese idioma.
I bring a warm, grounded presence to therapy and focus on creating a space where clients feel supported, challenged, and genuinely understood. I’m emotionally attuned and direct when needed, and I help clients grow by identifying the underlying patterns that shape how they think, feel, and relate to others. Together, we connect the dots between past and present, increase self-awareness, and work to shift patterns that are no longer serving them—all while combining insight with practical tools. I also maintain clear boundaries and consistency, which helps create a sense of safety and direction in the work. I offer bilingual therapy in Spanish and am mindful of how language and cultural background can shape emotional experience. Ofrezco terapia bilingüe en español y tengo en cuenta cómo el idioma y la cultura influyen en el bienestar emocional.
I work well with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, relationship stress, low self-worth, or the lingering effects of earlier life experiences. I work best with clients who are ready to show up consistently and work collaboratively toward meaningful growth. Whether you're in the middle of a life transition or simply want to feel more grounded, I offer a supportive space to explore what’s happening and move toward lasting change. I’m also a good fit for clients who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in Spanish, Spanglish or who are navigating bicultural or first-generation experiences. También brindo apoyo a clientes hispanohablantes y a quienes enfrentan experiencias biculturales o de primera generación.
In my work, I pay close attention to how past experiences—especially painful or overwhelming ones—continue to shape how we think, feel, and relate to others. I create a space that feels steady and respectful, where we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe. I draw from both insight-oriented and skills-based approaches to help you build trust in yourself again.
I help clients make sense of how early relationships may be showing up in their current patterns—whether that’s self-doubt, difficulty with trust, or fear of closeness. By noticing these patterns together, we can begin to shift them. I bring a relational lens to therapy that emphasizes emotional safety and more secure ways of relating.
I use CBT to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, or stress. Together, we build practical tools for managing emotions, changing behaviors, and creating more balanced ways of thinking.
ACT helps clients build a life aligned with their values by learning to accept difficult emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them. I use ACT to support clients in becoming more present, managing of rigid self-expectations, and creating meaningful change.
I believe the relationship between therapist and client is a powerful space for change. We’ll pay attention not just to what’s happening in your life, but also to how it shows up in our work together. That kind of real-time reflection can help shift patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed.
