In our first session together, here's what you can expect
After a thorough assessment and establishing goals for our work together, we will review and decide upon the corresponding best fit of evidence based treatments. We will start to review the current thoughts and behaviors that contribute to keeping you stuck. You will bring your experiences into session so we can support looking at your life through a different lens and creating the opportunity for growth and change.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I utilize a variety of evidence based treatments for anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. These include resolving grief and sadness around loss or disappointments, identifying and amending thoughts and behaviors that keep you worried, anxious and stuck, and increasing capacity for self compassion and care. We will track your progress with standardized measurement tools to direct focus of treatment. Whatever your priorities, we will jointly determine the best fit for your needs.

I have over two decades of experience working with a variety of issues that include anxiety, worry, trauma, grief, overwhelm, depression, lack of interest or pleasure with life activities, and relationship satisfaction. This knowledge helps me provide a compassionate, open, safe space for you to develop new habits and behaviors, and increase self awareness and capacity for change. We will build upon your strengths and draw from the resilience within you. Whether your concerns are dealing with a history of trauma and significant loss or you are grappling with the demands of daily life, I will support you as you explore new possibilities and realize that the ability to change is within you.
