Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) (LCPC) (LPC) (LMHC) licensed in various states. I received my Masters from Avila University in Kansas City and have been practicing for over a decade. I have helped women struggling with life problems and aid them in regaining control over worry, panic, fear, or dread in order to become the best version of themselves.
During our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you’re facing. This will help us create a plan tailored for you. The plan will be a guide to work through in follow-up sessions.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients in exploring the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In our work together, we examine the beliefs and patterns that may contribute to life’s challenges, while honoring each person’s unique cultural background, identity, and lived experiences. I approach therapy with cultural humility, recognizing how social, historical, and systemic factors can shape thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT offers practical tools and strategies to help clients navigate difficulties, strengthen coping skills, and build resilience. My goal is to work collaboratively, empowering clients to develop insights and skills that align with their personal values, priorities, and goals. This approach allows therapy to be both reflective and actionable, creating a space where growth, understanding, and meaningful change can occur safely and respectfully.
Eclectic
I draw from a person-centered framework, which places your experiences, voice, and goals at the heart of therapy. From there, I integrate concepts from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical coping strategies. I also incorporate an eclectic range of techniques, including internal family systems (IFS) to explore and harmonize different parts of yourself, somatic work to increase body awareness and release stored tension, and gestalt therapy to deepen present-moment awareness and personal insight. This integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, combining evidence-based strategies with creative, experiential tools. My goal is to help you build self-awareness, resilience, and practical skills, empowering you to live a more balanced and intentional life in a safe and supportive environment.
