As a clinical social worker and therapist, I have worked with survivors of narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood trauma. I am deeply committed to fostering a supportive and empowering therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, empathy, and collaboration. My goal is to provide a safe space for healing and growth, empowering clients to reclaim their voices and live more fulfilling lives

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will get to know each other and I will spend some time gathering information on your background as well as what is going well in your current life and what you would like to improve. I want to ensure that I truly understand you and your desired outcomes for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a psychotherapist, my greatest strengths lie in fostering genuine connections, maintaining a non-judgmental stance, and guiding you towards acquiring valuable skills and solutions that empower you to achieve the life you aspire to live.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my practice, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) methods to empower clients in cultivating psychological flexibility and living a more values-driven life. By guiding individuals to accept inner experiences, including thoughts, emotions, and sensations, without unnecessary struggle, we work together to develop mindfulness skills and build resilience. Through experiential exercises and values clarification, clients learn to identify their core values and take committed action towards meaningful goals, even in the presence of discomfort or adversity.

Trauma-Focused CBT

As a psychotherapist, I employ trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) as a primary approach in my practice. TF-CBT is a specialized form of CBT designed to help individuals who have experienced trauma. I work collaboratively with clients to establish safety, explore and process traumatic memories, challenge maladaptive beliefs, and develop effective coping skills. By focusing on the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, TF-CBT helps clients understand and manage their reactions to trauma, ultimately promoting healing and resilience. My goal is to provide a supportive and empowering environment where clients can work through their trauma and regain a sense of control and well-being.
