Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, and answering questions about your background, current symptoms, and goals for treatment. It is an opportunity to assess if we're a good fit for working together and to start building a trusting relationship by addressing your concerns and any questions you may have about the therapy process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with individuals with generational trauma, I have developed the skills to support individuals in opening pathways to self-realization to promote life satisfaction. By helping individuals shed limiting beliefs and unproductive thinking patterns, as such therapy can liberate you from internalized shame and self-doubt.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My primary goal is to help you increase your sense of safety, become a better version of yourself, and thrive in your relationships. Therapy can help you overcome the difficulties associated with unresolved feelings of grief, loss and anger, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse, so you can focus on the things that matter to you most.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

We'll explore how childhood relationships and past attachment patterns impact current relationships and emotions. This allows for the development of better coping mechanisms and communication skills to foster healthier relationships.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy will help work through the emotional pain and challenges associated with loss by providing a safe space to express feelings, explore memories of your loved one, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and ultimately learn to adjust to life after a significant loss. By examining positive and difficult memories of the loss, individuals may find healthy ways to remember and integrate the loss into their lives.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

This approach helps identify and understand different "parts" of the self, suppressed feelings towards these parts, and aims to release these suppressed emotions to ultimately achieve inner harmony by managing conflicts between these parts in a more positive way.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

This approach helps individuals develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment, allowing to respond to situations with more acceptance and less reactivity.

Psychodynamic

By exploring early childhood experiences and defense mechanisms, this approach aims to help individuals reach a deeper level of self-understanding of their unconscious thoughts, emotions and behaviors.
