New to Grow
Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, as well as a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor. I offer a safe place where individuals are able to begin their therapeutic healing journey. My desire is to be a vehicle to facilitate the healing process for individuals. I am deeply honored to assist clients on the road to healing. My faith, hope, and beliefs have enabled me to continue this work, and I feel thankful to be a vehicle that facilitates the healing process.
Individuals will have a therapeutic environment that is compassionate and safe. Individuals are able to gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to make positive changes in their life.
I offer a variety of modalities ranging from motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered, christian counseling, coaching and supportive therapy.
I work with people from all walks of life, including those dealing with addiction, adult children of alcoholics, and individuals navigating complex life challenges. I work with people facing trauma, mental and emotional health challenges, life transitions, domestic violence, and substance use concerns. I welcome those who are hurting and ready to begin their healing journey, honoring your willingness to share and seek support.
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. Over the years, i've worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, relationship difficulties, stress, and negative self-belief patterns
I have experience using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop emotional regulation skills, reduce impulsive or self-destructive behaviors, and build healthier relationships. My DBT training includes both foundational coursework and ongoing clinical application, and I frequently integrate DBT principles into individual sessions to support clients struggling with intense emotions, anxiety, depression, and patterns of instability.
My experience in Psychoeducation is not simply giving information - it is a structured, collaborative process that empowers clients to make informed decisions, recognize patterns, and use new tools effectively. It's a foundation for almost all evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, trauma work etc.).
