What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked with individuals and couples in dealing with numerous life issues such as, depression, stress anxiety, self-esteem, loss and grief and trauma. I am bilingual and can provide services in Spanish. I have informed my practice around trauma., connection and sense of belonging.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is more structured that traditional therapy, with an active approach to problem solving and progressing towards your goals.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Spend less time engaging with unwanted thoughts, feelings, and sensations, and learn strategies to be more present and live your experiences fully, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy may be a great fit for you. You can become skilled in the components of ACT therapy: Acceptance and mindfulness skills. Values exploration/clarification. Commitment and behavior change strategies. Experiential present goal-directed actions. Movement towards psychological flexibility.

Strength-Based

Strength-based therapy is a type of positive psychotherapy and counseling that focuses on your internal strengths and resourcefulness, rather than on your weaknesses, failures, and shortcomings. The tenet is that this focus sets up a positive mindset that helps you build on your best qualities, find your strengths, improve resilience, and change your worldview to one that is more positive.
