My name is Ashley and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated with my Masters in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2021 but have been working in the field as a Clinical Therapist since 2020. I genuinely enjoy working with many different people, but I especially love individual therapy with clients who are a little neurospicy like me, parents and caregivers who feel burned out or stretched too thin, and people trying to heal from trauma or unhealthy relationship patterns. I’m very trauma-informed and values-oriented in my work. I like helping clients understand the “why” behind their emotions, behaviors, and patterns while also figuring out what kind of life and relationships actually feel aligned with who they are. I often work with ADHD, anxiety, attachment and relationship concerns, caregiver burnout, life transitions, and parents of children with special needs or higher support needs. I know therapy is not about having everything figured out. Sometimes it’s about finally having a place where you don’t have to perform, hold everything together, or explain why you’re exhausted. I try to bring warmth, honesty, humor when appropriate, and practical tools into the room while still giving you space to process at your own pace.
Our first session will be about getting to know one another. I believe that you have to vibe with your therapist and make sure you feel comfortable opening up to someone about your biggest vulnerabilities so for me that would be allowing you to tell me about yourself, gathering some information that may help me know you a little more and being open to any questions you have for me.
I am a people person and I am personable and relatable to my clients. Being myself, real and authentic helps my clients see that I am a human too and not just a professional who is working off of textbook only. I am culturally diverse and am open to all different stories and walks of life.
I have served clients dealing with stressors and problems with the legal and child welfare system, dealing with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, ADHD, Grief, Parenting conflict, family conflict, Anger Management, DV for Victims and Perps, and Substance Abuse. I enjoy each population differently and my ultimate goal is to just help guide others to their true authentic self, free from their problems, and help heal those I cross paths with. My observation has been that we are all here just trying to do our best with what we have and we are capable to get to the desired life we want if we just take that step towards change.

Amazing first session. I needed this, someone to talk to without a biased outlook or opinion. Ashley listened, and I felt heard. Looking forward to future sessions.

She is extremely helpful and allows me to talk to get my thoughts out and helps me break my words down to bigger ideas.

Provides a safe place for us to open up and be vulnerable. Being a transmale people come already with judgement but Ashley is a true professional who tries to understand, empathize, and truly help her patience on their goals.
