In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first therapy session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. This initial meeting is an opportunity for you to share your concerns, goals, and any challenges you are currently facing at a pace that feels comfortable to you. I will ask questions to gain a clearer picture of your background, current stressors, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. We will also review important information such as confidentiality, the therapy process, and any practical details related to treatment. Together, we will begin to identify goals and discuss possible approaches that may best support your needs. The first session is designed to be a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you can ask questions, feel heard, and begin building a therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a structured form of psychotherapy designed to reduce distress associated with traumatic memories. EMDR helps individuals process and resolve the emotional impact of disturbing or overwhelming life experiences, allowing symptoms related to trauma to diminish. Through this approach, clients can move toward healing, improved emotional regulation, and greater psychological resilience.
