In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The initial therapy session is designed to establish a comprehensive understanding of your current concerns and the factors that have led you to seek treatment. This meeting provides an opportunity for you to discuss your experiences, goals, and presenting challenges at a pace that feels appropriate and manageable. I will gather relevant clinical information regarding your personal history, current stressors, coping patterns, and desired outcomes to inform an individualized treatment plan.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

At the core of my work is a compassionate and nonjudgmental presence. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood, allowing you to explore vulnerable experiences with safety and confidence. The treatment methods and tools I utilize are grounded in evidence-based practice and tailored to each client’s unique clinical presentation and goals. My approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral interventions, trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based strategies, and psychodynamic insight-oriented work to address both symptom reduction and deeper emotional processing. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I incorporate when clinically appropriate to support the processing of traumatic memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and facilitate adaptive resolution of distressing experiences. EMDR is particularly effective in addressing trauma, anxiety, negative core beliefs, and unresolved relational wounds.

I am best suited to work with individuals who are committed to meaningful change and willing to engage in thoughtful self-exploration. I provide support to clients experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, relational difficulties, life transitions, and the emotional sequelae of both recent and historical trauma. I am particularly effective in working with individuals who feel overwhelmed, struggle with self-esteem or boundary-setting, or are seeking to resolve unresolved family-of-origin or relational wounds.

I feel so safe and comfortable talking through sensitive or difficult life issues with Mana. She is incredibly easy to talk to and helps approach life issues from a place of mindfulness, patience, and above all compassion.
