In my counseling approach, I prioritize active listening and client-centered care. Your growth and goals are at the forefront of our sessions, as I work collaboratively with you to navigate the path toward healing and personal fulfillment.
In addition to individual counseling, I specialize in couples therapy, helping partners navigate complex issues like communication breakdowns, conflict resolution, and rebuilding trust. Through tailored interventions and empathetic support, I assist couples in cultivating deeper understanding, connection, and resilience within their relationships. I also offer individual counseling for personal growth, healing, and support, providing a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their innermost thoughts and emotions on their journey towards greater well-being and fulfillment.
Insight and progress can often be achieved in just one session, though the benefits of ongoing therapy are profound. Whether you're stepping into counseling for the first time or continuing your therapeutic journey, my objective remains the same: to provide you with the compassionate support and guidance you deserve. Your willingness to engage in therapy is deeply appreciated, and I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

My professional journey is rooted in human growth. I hold a Bachelor's in English, a Master's in Counseling and Psychology, and a Doctorate in Behavioral Health. Originally, I thought I was going to be a teacher, but shifted gears as I wanted to be able to give more and help more. I believe we are all lifelong learners so I still get to teach, but also be a partner, guide, support person, sounding board, advocate, and so much more! My clinical philosophy is built on three pillars: choice, change, and hope. Choice is always available, change is always possible, and, without hope, we have nothing. Hope encourages us to keep going; making those choices and those changes that will improve our overall quality of life and wellbeing.
I’m Malavika— my clients call me Mal. Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, and I’m really glad you’re here.

Hello, I am Jennifer. I am a licensed therapist with over 25 years of experience supporting people of all ages through various transitions and challenges. I offer a unique approach to mental health that integrates clinical therapy with moderate physical exercise in the great outdoors. I focus on helping people with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress/burnout, infertility and alcohol misuse while increasing nourishing habits such as exercise, sleep, nutrition, and other practices that reduce symptoms and calm the nervous system.
Have you ever wished you could get in-person therapy without having to sit in an office with the therapist? Do you feel too busy to schedule both therapy and exercise into one day and wish the two could be combined? If so, then "walk and talk" could be a good fit for you. I offer the opportunity to receive counseling or coaching while outside in nature and moving your body. Research demonstrates that both exercise and spending time outdoors in sunlight and green spaces provides a reduction in symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, and stress while improving mood overall. My unique "walk and talk" method addresses all three aspects of healing and growth: physical, psychological, and spiritual.
Have you found yourself wondering if you are drinking too much and/or too often? Are you tired of experiencing low energy, anxiety, depression, disrupted sleep, sugar cravings, etc. and you wish you had a coach to support you as you navigate a new way of living alcohol free? If you are sober curious, I am here to help!

Mr. Briceño is a therapist who values depth, presence, and intentionality in his work. He was drawn to this field through a desire to better understand himself and support his immediate family through difficult experiences, and that curiosity continues to guide how he practices today.
His professional journey has included working with individuals across the lifespan and life circumstances from ages 4-106. This has shaped his respect for resilience and the complexity of human experience. Those experiences reinforced his belief that therapy is most effective when it is grounded in empathy, reflection, and genuine human connection.
He approaches this work thoughtfully and with care. Is intentional about how he shows up with clients, prioritizing presence and understanding over labels or quick solutions. He values honest conversation, self-awareness, and creating spaces for people to explore their experiences in a way that feels grounded and respectful.
At his core, therapy is about understanding—understanding ourselves, our patterns, and what matters most to us. Supporting that process, and witnessing growth that comes from clarity and insight, is what continues to motivate him in this work.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with a trauma-informed, somatic & relational approach to therapy. I work with thoughtful adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, reconnect with their bodies, and create more ease and clarity in their relationships. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in nervous system education—supporting meaningful, lasting change rather than quick fixes.
Welcome! I'm Silvie Wilson.
I'd like to acknowledge the strength it requires to take that first step of reaching out for help with your mental health from a therapist. I know it's not easy to begin the journey to better self understanding, compassion, and mastery.
My aim is to create a safe environment in which we can explore your own personal history, themes, and challenges, in order to find resources and solutions to the obstacles that hold you back from being exactly the person you've always wanted to be.
I will pay attention to who you are as an individual, reflect back your strengths, and help you to tie together the seemingly disparate aspects of your life so that you realize how much sense you make, have compassion for all phases of your development, and leave behind what no longer serves you to find the life you've always wanted.
Together we can build up your sense of self, your resilience, and your ability to find peace of mind.
I am a bilingual (Spanish & English) marriage and family therapist licensed in California with over 14 years of experience working in clinical practice. I am born and raised in San Francisco's Mission District. I am Salvarodan and Nicaraguan; and a native Spanish speaker. I adhere to the First Nations (Maya and Nahuatl) and Yoruba paradigm of health and wellness. I integrate these paradigms within the framework of Liberation Psychology; and evidenced-based techniques and interventions to empower clients on their healing journey. I understand how forced displacement, systemic & institutionalized oppression, discrimination, and the multitude of microagressions historically marginalized communities endure lead to the re-enactment of the violence caused by colonialism. Affirmation about cultural and ethnic identity is generally lacking at the present moment resulting in many communities experiencing traumatic, and humiliating experiences related to their ethnic pride and culture.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides counseling to adults and couples using a trauma-informed approach. I am trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and I help clients process and heal from complex life experiences.
I bring a unique depth of experience to my work, having served 25 years as a police officer and over 13 years supporting first responders through peer support programs. I am also a certified domestic violence counselor with experience working with both adults and children impacted by trauma, and a U.S. Army veteran with four years of active-duty service.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience helping adults navigate stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and major life transitions. I take an integrative approach, combining attachment-based, family systems, and psychodynamic principles, along with practical strategies to help clients regulate their nervous system and build clarity, resilience, and sustainable change. I work with adults managing high-pressure situations, including athletes, professionals, and women balancing work, life, and identity challenges.
Clients leave sessions feeling more grounded, understood, and equipped to manage stress, anxiety, and performance pressures. They gain insight into patterns in their emotions, relationships, and behavior, develop tools to navigate overwhelm, and strengthen their sense of agency — creating meaningful, sustainable change in both their personal and professional lives.
Hi, I’m Marguerite. I am a holistic, somatic, and trauma informed therapist based in Los Angeles. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and identify as Black and Afro-Latina. Having lived in Guatemala, Spain, Costa Rica, Massachusetts, Michigan, and South Los Angeles, I bring a deep appreciation for the ways culture, identity, family systems, and social environments shape emotional well-being.
My approach is anti-oppressive and trauma-informed. I am committed to creating an affirming and compassionate space where clients can explore the connection between their inner world and external experiences, including relationships, family dynamics, systemic stress, and the broader social issues. I believe therapy can support clients in feeling more grounded, empowered, and aligned in their lives.
As a somatic therapist, I support clients in reconnecting with their bodies, developing emotional regulation skills, and strengthening self-trust. I often work with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they cultivate greater clarity, peace, and resilience through mindfulness, self-compassion, and values-based decision making.
Clients are the experts on their own lives. I see therapy as a collaborative process that honors each person’s lived experience, strengths, and capacity for growth.
Outside of therapy, I am a professional singer and am forming a band this year. I enjoy being with friends, playing piano, attending dance classes, walking my dog, and listening to to the latest R&B, Beyonce and Cardi B songs.
Hello, my name is Teresa Mills a Licenced Marriage and Family therapist in California. Are you looking for a space that offers openness, support, and understanding? Together we can create a safe space free of judgement, and tailored to your therapeutic needs, and paced at your progression. I focus on strengths and not just symptoms. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and intended to support meaningful lasting individual growth.
As a Doctor of Social Work and a dual-certified clinician in both DBT (Linehan Board) and CBT (Beck Institute), I am dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most complex emotional and spiritual challenges. My practice is built on the belief that meaningful change happens when we combine clinical excellence with a clear, values-driven vision for the future.
I specialize in supporting parents of children and adolescents who struggle with Emotional Dysregulation and problematic behaviors. I understand the exhaustion and isolation that can come with high-conflict household dynamics. To address this, I developed Family Systems Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (FS-DBT)—a model specifically designed to treat the family as a connected ecosystem, fostering collective growth rather than just individual symptom management.
Beyond family dynamics, I provide a safe, structured space for those experiencing faith crises or existential transitions. Whether you are deconstructing long-held beliefs or grappling with a loss of meaning, I help you navigate these "dark nights of the soul" by integrating clinical tools with a deep respect for your personal journey. My goal is to help you rebuild a life that feels authentic and anchored in your core truth.
Whether I am working with a couple seeking to repair their bond or a parent striving to de-escalate crisis behaviors, my approach is rooted in "beginning with the end in mind." We will collaborate on a comprehensive, practical plan designed to point you and your family toward your specific goals. I offer specialized individual psychotherapy and real-time phone coaching to ensure skills are applied in the moments they matter most. I am deeply passionate about this work, and I would love the opportunity to support your journey.
I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship concerns, using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and interpersonal therapy (IPT). My style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, creating a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I strive to meet each person where they are and empower them with practical skills to foster meaningful, lasting change.

I am an affirmative therapist and am LGBTQIA+ allied (I myself identify as gender queer and pansexual), BLM allied, Indigenous/native allied, API allied, Latinx allied, Disability allied, Deaf allied, Vegan allied (I myself am Vegan), and polyamory allied. I specialize in serving patients suffering suicide loss at any stage of the loss. I also specialize in attachment/family systems informed individual care and CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia). I also hold particular interest and experience in serving adults with ASD, ID or DD, adult children of narcissists, those who have suffered brainwashing and those who have suffered paranormal trauma.
I have years of experience in serving patients with a multitude of mental health and relational difficulties. I consider my orientation as a therapist to be first and foremost client-centered and strength-based. Although I utilize various therapeutic approaches, I chiefly consider myself to be a narrative/Rogerian therapist. This means that I work to help my patients take back the power and control over their own stories and assist them by co-authoring a narrative that truly witnesses and respects their traumas, tragedies, injustices, achievements, triumphs, milestones, strengths, and resiliency. I do this while holding empathy, congruency and unconditional positive regard as my three major tenants in the therapeutic alliance.
I specialize in therapy for: adult individuals suffering depression, anxiety, interpersonal/relational difficulties, traumatic grief, suicide loss, relational and attachment traumas, victims of psychological torture/emotional abuse/brainwashing, adult children of narcissists, sufferers of paranormal traumas, military and first-responder trauma, vegans, LGBTQIA+, adults with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Developmental disabilities (DD), people struggling with life stressors, and those struggling with identity.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I help people understand the deeper patterns shaping their relationships, emotions, and sense of self. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based, attachment-informed therapy to support healing from anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen and understood. I work with clients to build insight, emotional resilience, and healthier ways of connecting with themselves and others.
I work with adults and adolescents who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or worn down by anxiety, depression, life changes, or relationship stress. My approach is compassionate, honest, and collaborative—blending practical tools with real connection. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to hold everything together. We move through what you’re carrying at your pace, focusing on building clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self so you can feel more grounded and supported in your everyday life.

Through strength-based and culturally sensitive approaches, I support children and families who are dealing with a multitude of challenges including anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression. Having professional experience working at a Children’s hospital, I utilize a family systems approach to child therapy and worked closely with children with complex medical and/or mental health challenges. Hi, my name is Desirae Giraldes and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been a Social Worker for over 25 years. I have worked in a variety of communities and settings throughout my career including schools, medical placements, adult protective services, conservators office, and crisis residential. My focus throughout my career has been working in the area of Mental Health.
In 2020 I focused on private practice therapy and found that this area of work is where I belong. I love working with others one on one in a supportive and compassionate setting. I have worked with clients who come looking for support with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and codependency.
Hello, I'm Cristina. I help people who struggle with high functioning anxiety, people-pleasing, and constant overthinking, even when they appear to have things together on the outside. I also work with those who find themselves questioning their relationships, struggling to set boundaries, or navigating major life transitions such as new relationships, marriage, or becoming a parent.
As a bilingual therapist, I work with teens, young adults, and adults who want to better understand the patterns shaping their anxiety, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we focus on building stronger self-awareness, clearer boundaries, and greater confidence in your decisions so you can move forward with more clarity and self-trust.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma, burnout, and moral injury. With nearly a decade of crisis intervention experience and advanced training in Brainspotting, somatic modalities, and depth psychology, I work with first responders, healthcare providers, therapists, activists, and LGBTQIA+ individuals who are ready to stop just managing and start actually healing.
A lot of my clients come in high-functioning on the outside and quietly exhausted on the inside. They've been the ones others lean on. They've made hard calls, held hard things, and kept moving because stopping wasn't an option. What brought them to therapy isn't weakness, it's the accumulated weight of doing hard work in a world that doesn't always make space for the cost of it.
My work is to help people who've carried a lot make sense of what that's actually cost them, and reclaim who they are beyond their role, and that looks different for everyone. For some, it's processing specific events or experiences, and for others, it's untangling an identity that got fused with a job title, a caretaking role, or a set of values that the world kept violating. Whatever the shape of it, we work at a pace that respects both the urgency you feel and the time real healing actually takes.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of mental health and relationships. For the past decade, I have worked in a jail setting, where I have gained invaluable experience in crisis management. My work in this challenging environment has honed my skills in de-escalation and conflict resolution, and has taught me the importance of compassion and empathy in even the most difficult of situations. In addition to my work in the jail system, I have also maintained a thriving private practice, where I take an eclectic approach to therapy.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, with over 5 years of clinical experience supporting clients' mental health. I'm passionate about working with individuals who want to understand themselves on a deeper level, not just manage symptoms but shift the patterns underneath them. I work with adults navigating the emotional challenges that come from ADHD, anxiety, relationship stress, attachment wounds, or trauma. My role is to help you untangle what feels confusing, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward relationships and choices that feel secure and aligned.
Hello, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who is passionate about supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. I have experience working with people of many ages and backgrounds in a variety of clinical settings. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and strive to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe to be themselves and openly share their experiences. I believe in meeting clients where they are and building a genuine connection that allows for trust, growth, and healing. I have worked with concerns such as depression, anxiety, and trauma, and I feel honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate difficult moments and discover their strength and resilience.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who was born and raised on Maui, Hawaiʻi. I am of mixed heritage—Hawaiian and Portuguese—and grew up at the intersection of Western influence and Indigenous ways of knowing. In my community, when someone was suffering, the first line of care often came from community healers—curandeiras—who worked with energy, connected with ancestors, and attended to what could not always be seen or spoken. There was also the influence of the land itself: the place that roots us, communicates with us, and teaches us. These early experiences shaped the way I understand healing, connection, and the deeper layers of human experience.
As a mixed-race trans man, I have spent much of my life navigating the intersections of culture, identity, and belonging. These lived experiences have shaped my capacity to hold complexity and nuance in the therapeutic process, and they have given me a unique perspective on how we hold ourselves—and one another—in mind. My work is grounded in an attachment-based, trauma-recovery, depth-oriented, and liberation-focused framework.
Depending on the needs of my clients, I also incorporate parts work, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and Brainspotting. I pay close attention to what is communicated beyond language—through tone, emotion, and presence. My ability to read people allows me to hear what is often veiled but deeply important to the experiences that may be keeping someone stuck. I approach this work with humility, care, and deep respect for each person’s story.
I have worked in the mental health field since 1995 across the San Francisco Bay Area, Maui, and Portland, Oregon, and I have been licensed and in private practice since 2017. It is a true honor to support people in their healing, growth, and self-understanding.
My focus is to provide support and guidance. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy (ages 5+) using a client-centered approach. I use a wide variety of therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), etc. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I provide a client-centered approach with motivational interviewing. I use a wide variety of therapeutic approaches.
I’m a therapist who is deeply passionate about helping individuals and couples create meaningful, lasting change in their lives and relationships. My approach is warm, direct, and grounded in both clinical expertise and genuine care. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel truly seen and supported, while also being challenged to grow in ways that move you toward your best self. I draw from attachment-based and mindfulness approaches to help clients better understand their patterns, regulate emotions, and build healthier, more secure connections. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, or feeling stuck in old patterns, I work collaboratively with you to create insight, clarity, and real movement forward.
When life's challenges - work, relationships, money troubles, illness or injury become too much to manage, or when the pain of the past pops up when you least expect it to disrupt sleep, or when daily stressors build up and make it hard to cope, that's when more than a friendly ear is needed. That's when a professional can help you heal the compounding effects of life experiences.
If you are seeking long-term relief from anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, grief or loss, I will help you heal those emotional injuries that compound over a lifetime and make life lose its meaning. And I will empower you to heal the emotional pain that is preventing you from living your best life.
I provide a safe place to explore and deal with difficult, ongoing, and often painful issues, using over twenty years of experience. I offer a simple and gentle approach that avoids re-traumatizing while working on understanding and discharging old traumas and stress. My trauma-informed, holistic approach includes somatic, emotional, and cognitive processing and integration. Healing is a double-sided process, working through healing the past while building and reinforcing your present sense of Self and interacting more successfully in your life. I am a trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and practice Psychotherapy with multiple adjunct therapies to integrate mind and body with Somatic Experiencing (SE) and other Evidence Based Therapies such as EMDR, Life Goals, Whole Health, Movement Therapy, and more.
