Hi, I'm Eliana. I received my M.S. in Counseling at California State University, Los Angeles. I have been working in the mental health field since 2014.
I am also bilingual in Spanish and have been able to offer services to a diverse population.
I began my professional career working in both outpatient and school-based services with children, adolescence, and parents. For the last 5 years I have been working with adults (18+) through telehealth. I have been able to demonstrate true compassion, dedication to clients’ well-being, and outstanding work ethic. In our work together, I use CBT as a practical, evidence-based approach to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The goal is to shift unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior that may be keeping you stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or feeling low.
Trauma Informed Care
This approach means I recognize that many people have experienced overwhelming, painful, or confusing life events that can affect how we think, feel, relate, and cope.
Eclectic
This approach means I draw from a variety of evidenced-based methods to best support your unique needs, goals, and preferences. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor our sessions based on what will be most helpful for you.
