I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who attained my master's at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I've worked with adolescents, individuals, and couples in a community based and private practice setting. I currently work with adults whom are wanting to gain a better approach to their life while going through difficulties with transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and/or life rediscoveries.
I like to provide a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment, which encourages my clients to move towards behavioral transformations without fear or apprehension.
As a provider my clients will gain a positive outlook and adopt new attitudes and reactions within their lives.
My approach is warm and welcoming as this will help us build an organic rapport with one another. I’d like to describe my therapeutic approach as integrative and collaborative. This approach will allow the client to have an individualized experience. Moreover, I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational issues, and stress management.
I utilize ACT with clients to help them move towards acceptance of what can't be changed and to focus and commit to action where change is possible.
I utilize CBT to assist clients in becoming aware of how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact their automatic thoughts and behaviors in order to gain control and make positive changes within their lives.
I don't believe in a one size fits all model, utilizing an integrative approach with clients allows me the flexibility to connect and collaborate with individual clients and explore different therapeutic approaches given the clients individual needs.
