New clients continue care with this provider

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in treating a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, family conflict, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. My approach is integrative and client-centered. I draw on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Positive Psychotherapy to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. I use CBT to help clients identify and transform negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. Through DBT, I support clients in developing emotion regulation skills and the capacity to balance acceptance with meaningful change. With Positive Psychotherapy and a strength-based lens, I empower individuals to recognize their inner resources, enhance coping skills, and explore new possibilities. I believe in creating a warm, safe, and collaborative therapeutic environment where you can explore new ways of thinking, overcome challenges, and move toward your goals—one step at a time. Let’s work together to create meaningful, lasting change for a better tomorrow.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I take a warm and welcoming approach to help you feel at ease as we begin the therapeutic process. During this initial meeting, I will gather important information to understand your unique situation better and begin developing a personalized treatment plan. We’ll discuss your past experiences, current challenges, and future goals, setting the foundation for a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strong sense of empathy and understanding, combined with my educational background in Child Development, Family Studies, and Psychology, allows me to appreciate each individual’s unique personality and life experiences. This foundation enables me to support clients in recognizing their potential and developing the skills needed to grow, heal, and thrive.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I strongly believe in the strengths and capabilities of every individual. In our work together, we will explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to promote greater self-awareness and personal growth. My goal is to empower my clients with effective coping strategies that foster resilience, clarity, and meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a scientifically supported treatment approach proven effective for a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma. CBT helps individuals understand how their thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors are interconnected, often forming patterns that reinforce distress. Through this method, I guide clients in identifying and interrupting negative thought cycles, and in developing healthier, more constructive ways of thinking and responding.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients identify the triggers underlying destructive or impulsive behaviors and develop practical skills to manage emotional dysregulation. This approach also emphasizes building the capacity to hold and balance seemingly opposing truths—such as the need for both acceptance and change—as a foundation for emotional growth and lasting transformation.

Strength-Based

I utilize Positive Psychotherapy and a strength-based approach to empower clients in identifying their inner strengths and capacities. Through this process, I support them in enhancing their problem-solving abilities, developing effective coping strategies, and discovering new resources and possibilities for personal growth and resilience.
