HI, I am Pat Moriarty. I have been in practice from many years and enjoy helping clients grow and make the changes in their lives they desire. I have extensive experience working with people who have depression, anxiety, grief, and health care issues, as well as life transitions. I help people understand what and why they are experiencing certain feelings and help alleviate discomfort.
I specialize in working with clients navigating identity, relationships, work, and major life transitions. I work best with adults ready for focused, engaged therapy and interested in building greater stability, clarity, and confidence.
My approach is structured, collaborative, and active. Sessions require a private, distraction-free space (no driving or being driven), and I work with clients who are prepared to show up consistently and participate actively in the process.
In addition to my behavioral health qualifications, I have formal business school training and certification in Human Resources Management, which gives me an additional perspective on career, workplace, leadership, and employment-related concerns that often intersect with men’s identity and well-being.
Joseph has over 25 years working in different capacities within behavioral health including running a statewide public health campaign to prevent suicide and eliminate stigma and discrimination of mental health challenges and addressing health disparities as a county cultural competency manager. I believe psychotherapy is a tool to understand oneself and grow as an individual, It can also be used to form a relationship where safety allows a person to share their innermost thoughts and feelings and then work towards symptom alleviation and improving self-concept, social and family relationships, and find personal contentment and fulfillment in their lives. I have been in the psychotherapy field for over 45 years and love working with people of all ages, sexual preferences, racial and ethnic groups, and mental health problems presented. My approach is kind, compassionate, and considerate of people's wishes, needs, and preferences.
Hi, I’m Dr. Cathy Evangelatos, I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology.
I also hold a Master’s degree in Theology, enabling me to offer specialized Christian-integrated therapy for clients who desire to integrate their faith into their personal growth and healing.
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, which provides significantly more rigorous training and expertise than a standard two-year Master’s-level therapist. Psychologists typically complete 5–7+ years of doctoral-level education beyond a bachelor’s degree, with extensive training in evidence-based psychological interventions, assessment, diagnosis, and advanced treatment approaches. In contrast, most Master’s-level therapists (such as MFTs or LCSWs) complete a two-year graduate program focused primarily on relational and family systems work. This advanced doctoral training allows me to deliver deeper, more nuanced, and highly effective care — empowering you to achieve meaningful, lasting change with greater insight, precision, and support than a standard Master’s-level therapist can typically provide.

Hello I'm Sonja — a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in California. My path to this work wasn't a straight line and I think that makes me a better clinician. I started with a career in corrections in Arkansas, where I learned early on how to connect with people in difficult circumstances without judgment. That experience shaped how I show up in the therapy room to this day. I transitioned into mental health as a psychiatric technician, working directly with all age groups across inpatient and community settings; providing direct care, facilitating group therapy, and delivering individual therapy during my internship and later as a registered clinician with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. By the time I became fully licensed, I had accumulated nearly a decade of real-world clinical experience across some of the most demanding settings in behavioral health..
I'm Tanner Furgeson, and I believe that therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine, collaborative relationship. My approach is client-centered, which means I want to understand your experiences, relationships, and what is most important to you. I see my role as walking with you as we explore what may be getting in the way of the changes you want to make. I hope to create a space where you can feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who understands that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable—especially when you are used to handling everything on your own. You may be feeling anxious, discouraged, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or simply aware that something in your life needs to change. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.
My style is warm, honest, collaborative, and practical. Therapy is your journey, and you remain at the center of it. My role is to walk alongside you—offering a safe place to speak openly, meaningful insight, and practical support as you create lasting change and move toward a life that feels healthier, more connected, and authentically yours.
.I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and attachment-based approaches, tailoring our work to your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. Together, we can better understand what is keeping you stuck, recognize your strengths, and develop tools that help you feel more regulated and attuned.
Seeking support takes courage, and I'm honored to be part of that journey with my clients. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, and everyday stressors. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult situation, or looking for healthier ways to cope, we'll work together to identify your strengths, develop practical tools, and create a path toward healing and personal growth.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, recognizing that every person's experiences and goals are different. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My goal is to help you build resilience, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and gain confidence in navigating life's challenges—one step at a time.
You don't have to face life's challenges alone. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, balance, and lasting well-being.
Hello, I'm Dr. Scheherazade Pheng, a licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience helping adults across California. My work has been at the intersection of mental health, the criminal justice system, and the families whose lives are deeply affected by it.
One of the things that matters most to me is making quality mental health care accessible. I welcome clients with a variety of insurance plans because I believe the support you receive should never depend on the insurance card you carry.
Throughout my career, I have learned two important truths. When one person enters the criminal justice system, an entire family is impacted. Parents, spouses, grandparents, and children often carry overwhelming stress, grief, fear, and uncertainty while trying to keep moving forward. I have also seen that many communities near California's prisons and detention facilities have limited access to mental health care, despite having a tremendous need for support.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, shame, or the emotional challenges of loving someone who is incarcerated, you will find a compassionate and judgment-free space in my practice. Together, we'll work toward healing, greater clarity, and renewed hope. You deserve support just as much as the people you care about, and I'm here to help when you're ready. Dr. Pheng is also the author of The Other Side of the Wall: A Healing Guide for Families of Incarcerated Loved Ones, available at thriveinstitutefbh.com.
Hi! Welcome to my practice! I offer therapy as a calm, supportive space where you can slow down and feel genuinely heard. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve helped individuals move through anxiety, depression, hurt, and major life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical—focused on helping you feel grounded and capable of meaningful change.
I use evidence‑based approaches like DBT, CBT, and Problem‑Solving Therapy to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and support personal growth. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, understand patterns that no longer serve you, and practice tools that help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Therapy with me is welcoming and human. You don’t need to have the perfect words or a polished story—just a willingness to show up as you are. My hope is that each session leaves you feeling supported, understood, and more connected to your own strength.
I'm Kristen LCSW & I've spent decades helping others navigate through the difficult times in their life.
My career started in the mid-2000's as a Special Ed teacher at an all boys' residential behavior mod program, when after about 5yrs I realized that education was the surface of their issues and that I wanted to become a therapist. Which is what I did. Went to Rutgers grad school, worked 5yrs prison re-entry, then 5yrs dual dx IOP, before moving into my current role in private practice.

I am especially interested in helping clients better understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck and develop healthier ways of responding to difficult thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life circumstances. My goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help clients build greater self-understanding, resilience, emotional flexibility, and confidence in their ability to handle life’s challenges.

I have been working with Individuals and families in various therapeutic settings for over 25 years, supporting those who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment/bonding issues, life stage challenges, and relationship conflicts to name a few. I find myself continually in awe of the resilience of the human spirit. I am honored with the trust my clients offer me as they process thoughts and feelings around their challenges as we journey together to find answers that make sense and solutions that work.
I am extremely passionate about empowering individuals and therapists/associates to heal and live their best, most authentic lives. I strongly believe that each and every individual, regardless of background, ability, or beliefs, should have a safe space where they can feel comfortable being their true self. We will work together to identify areas you'd like to focus on, whether it's managing anxiety, coping with chronic illness, or processing trauma. I incorporate evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to provide you with the tools you need for lasting change.
What makes my practice unique is my emphasis on authenticity and validation. I believe in meeting you where you are and honoring your unique perspective, which creates a collaborative environment where you can speak freely and process your emotions without judgment.
I'm passionate about the work I do because it's essential for individuals to have a safe, supportive space to explore their thoughts and feelings. Whether you’re dealing with ongoing stress or seeking to make meaningful life changes, I’m here to help you find clarity, healing, and growth.
Everyone deserves to live a meaningful life—one filled with purpose, fulfilling relationships, personal growth, and a sense of balance. At times, however, we all need support and guidance to move forward.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over seven years of experience helping individuals across the lifespan navigate emotional and psychological challenges. My goal is to help clients reduce distress, strengthen insight, and build the skills needed to create lasting and positive change.
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and interactive. I place a strong emphasis on treating each person with respect, sensitivity, dignity, and compassion. I draw from a variety of evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches, including mindfulness-based practices, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), schema therapy, psychodynamic, humanistic, and rational-emotive interventions. Treatment is always tailored to your unique needs, goals, and life circumstances.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your path toward growth and well-being.
I am a warm, experienced therapist who helps clients heal and navigate life after traumatic experiences and toxic relationships. With extensive experience working alongside students, professionals and veterans, my approach is tailored to meet you where you are. Drawing from CBT, DBT, and EMDR helps you move through pain, regain clarity, and restore hope.
If you’ve been carrying pain, shame, or uncertainty for a long time, it’s easy to believe that change is impossible. But I’ve seen over and over again that when someone is given the right environment—one where they feel seen, valued, and supported—they can rebuild, heal, and grow in ways they never imagined.
If you’re ready to take that first step, I’m here to walk alongside you. You don’t have to do it perfectly. You don’t have to be “ready” in the way you might think. You just have to be willing to show up, exactly as you are, and let the process unfold.
For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children, teens, young adults, and adults as they navigate life’s many challenges. I use an eclectic approach, which simply means I pull from different types of therapy models depending on what fits each person best. No two people are the same, so together we’ll find tools and approaches that work for your life and goals. Sometimes that looks like building new coping skills, sometimes it’s unpacking trauma, and sometimes it’s just having a space where you can fully be yourself.
My goal is to create a safe and collaborative space where clients feel truly heard, seen and understood. Together, we can explore patterns, uncover strengths, and build strategies for lasting change. I believe therapy is not just about addressing struggles, it’s about cultivating growth, resilience, and self-discovery.
If you’re ready to take that step, I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey.

Hello! I am a provider who utilizes solution-focused, mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral therapy practices to help others address challenges and create a more balanced life. I am drawn to both rational and holistic practices, but it really starts with your goals and preferences.
At 19-years old, I was involved in a traumatic motor vehicle accident and spent several years recovering- both physically and emotionally. This experience has led me toward the field of counseling and wanting to work directly with people needing support and guidance.
I completed my undergraduate degree at University of California, San Diego with specialization in Clinical Psychology. After graduation, I volunteered for an equine therapy program and provided therapy services for children with Autism. After several years, I decided to pursue a Masters in Social Work at California State University San Marcos. I have worked in Dialysis outpatient, psychiatric, educational and research settings and have found it valuable to provide services to many different types of communities.
I am glad that you have considered reaching out for therapy. I hope to be a part of your journey.

Therapy has changed, and thankfully so. The old idea of spilling your heart out to someone who feels distant, judgmental, or out of touch does not work anymore. So let’s not do that.
I’m Jessica Milgrome, a licensed mental health clinician with 15 years of experience, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor. I work with women navigating anxiety, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, burnout, and major life transitions.
My approach is modern, direct, and judgment-free. Therapy with me is a real conversation. No awkward silence. No walking on eggshells. No wondering if you said the wrong thing. We talk openly, focus on what actually helps, and skip techniques that do not fit your real life.
Sessions can be video or phone. If video feels too intense some days, that is okay. Therapy should feel supportive, practical, and human.
To share a bit about myself, I’m a big fan of stand-up comedy because laughing really is life. I look forward to Mondays for Spotify’s Discover Weekly playlists and live by the mantra, “When words fail, let the music speak.” I also share my life with six dogs.
I’m here to help you organize your thoughts, build confidence, set boundaries you can keep, and move forward feeling clearer and more grounded.
I am looking forward to working with you using my 20+ years of experience working in county outpatient, state/federal prisons, highest level of foster care, and with homeless individuals. My goal is to help you strengthen communication and boundaries with yourself and others so that you can improve your quality of life and move toward the future you envision. Therapy is not just about overcoming obstacles—it’s also about personal growth. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and identify strategies to help you move toward them, whether that means change over the next month, six months, or a year. You’ll leave our sessions with practical insights and “next steps” you can put into action right away. I believe life’s purpose isn’t simply to be happy, but to find meaning—and within that meaning, joy emerges. While the journey isn’t always easy, it can be transformative. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addictions Professional, Internationally Certified Drug Counselor, and Behavior Analyst. I take a strength-based approach, helping you use your unique abilities to address challenges. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to empower you in creating lasting change. Most importantly, I bring a relaxed, compassionate, and trustworthy presence, fostering a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe and supported.
I specialize in helping expectant and new parents adapt and thrive in their new roles. The transition into parenthood is one of the most profound life changes, and it can come with emotional and psychological challenges. I believe that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. Whether you're dealing with overwhelming emotions, struggling to adjust to postpartum life, you don’t have to face it alone. I am here for you. Therapy is different for every person and I work to tailor my treatment specifically to your needs and personality in order to help you in the best possible way.

Over the past two decades, I have dedicated my professional life to assisting individuals and families in overcoming mental health challenges and cultivating healthier, more fulfilling lives. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Marriage and Family Therapy, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
My clinical experience encompasses treating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions through individual, family, and group therapy. In addition to my work as a mental health therapist, I possess extensive experience as a substance abuse counselor, providing support to clients throughout their recovery journey. I employ various evidence-based modalities that enhance patient care and facilitate the tailoring of individualized treatments based on the specific needs of each patient, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Trauma (CBT-TF), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Seeking safety (SS), Triple P Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder (PMAD).
My professional experience spans community mental health, integrated healthcare, nonprofit organizations, hospital settings, and private practice, where I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
I value collaboration and am recognized as a supportive, dependable team member who enjoys working alongside colleagues to develop innovative, effective solutions that enhance client outcomes. My experience includes crisis intervention, behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, case management, telehealth services, and providing warm handoffs to ensure timely access to behavioral health and specialty services.
I am passionate about advocating for underserved communities and firmly believe in treating every client with compassion, cultural humility, and respect. My objective is to empower individuals and families to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and attain enduring emotional well-being.
My practice is focused on a client-centered, humanistic approach that encompasses the treatment of individuals as a whole person. My approach offers a calming and non-judgemental environment to allow the space to explore different pathways to healing. I integrate interventions from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral therapy, mindfulness and person-centered therapy as well as solution-focused therapy. I try to empower clients to draw on natural strengths for motivation and to develop resilience towards change so that they can continue to grow and heal. I focus on replacing negative coping skills with healthy stress management so that my clients can feel empowered, embrace change and lead fulfilling lives.
