During our first session, I will conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your background, what brings you to therapy, and your goals for our work together. This hour-long session is focused on building rapport and gathering information rather than active therapy interventions. I'll ask about your history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. This is also your opportunity to ask questions about my approach, experience, and whether we're a good fit. I prioritize creating a comfortable, non-judgmental space where you can share openly as we establish the foundation for meaningful therapeutic work
My therapeutic approach is grounded in establishing strong therapeutic rapport and maintaining a client-centered focus throughout the treatment process. I prioritize understanding each client's unique goals, needs, and values to ensure that interventions are meaningful and aligned with their desired outcomes. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as my primary treatment modality, helping clients recognize and understand the interconnected relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through this evidence-based framework, clients gain insight into how cognitive patterns influence their emotional experiences and behavioral responses. My practice has demonstrated consistent success in facilitating significant client progress and meaningful change. This effectiveness stems from a combination of attentive clinical listening, individualized treatment planning, and collaborative goal-setting that empowers clients to take an active role in their therapeutic journey.
My ideal client is an adult aged 18–65 who recognizes the need for support and is genuinely ready to do the work. They come to therapy committed to personal growth, open to honest reflection, and willing to face difficult emotions or longstanding patterns. I work best with clients seeking help with boundaries, codependency, emotional regulation, and effective communication. They understand that meaningful change takes time, consistency, and courage, and they value the process over quick fixes. This client is motivated by a desire for emotional freedom—living authentically, choosing aligned relationships, and breaking unhealthy cycles. They see therapy as a collaborative partnership, practicing new skills between sessions and maintaining open communication as we work toward lasting, meaningful change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My experience with this treatment method is rooted in years of helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I use a structured, evidence-based approach that guides clients to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and replace them with healthier, more empowering ones. I stay attentive, collaborative, and honest throughout the process, making sure clients feel supported while still being held accountable. My goal is always to help people gain clarity, build confidence, and create lasting change—not just temporary relief.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I will use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths, recognize existing resources, and develop practical solutions for their current concerns. Through goal-oriented conversations, scaling questions, exception-finding, and future-focused interventions, I will support clients in identifying what is working and building upon those successes. This approach will empower clients to create meaningful change, increase self-efficacy, and develop achievable steps toward their desired outcomes
Psychoeducation
I will use psychoeducation to provide clients with knowledge and insight about their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, coping patterns, and relational dynamics. Through education on mental health concepts, emotional regulation, stress management, trauma responses, and healthy boundaries, I will help clients better understand their experiences and develop effective strategies for change. Psychoeducation will empower clients to increase self-awareness, normalize their experiences, strengthen coping skills, and make informed decisions that support their overall well-being.

I had my first therapy session with her and had a very positive experience. I appreciated how direct and transparent she was about her approach, how she works, and what I could expect from our sessions together. She was easy to talk to, had a great sense of humor, and made me feel comfortable right away. The session felt genuine and conversational rather than overly clinical, which helped me feel at ease and optimistic about continuing therapy with her.

She seems to want to understand who I am now. Learn what I believe and how I think.
