Hi! I'm Jordan, a California and Florida Licensed Mental Healthcare Practitioner and I'm glad you're here. In addition to my work as a Therapist, I have held credentials with accrediting bodies such as the Behavior Analytic Certification Board and the American Council on Exercise. Using a combination of effective therapies I help clients like you develop, understand, and accomplish their therapeutic goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I want to get to know you! Our first session together will be impactful and directive while holding space for you to share the things that are most important to you and your therapeutic journey. As your therapist I want to get to understand your background, current struggles, and future goals. After brief introductions and reviewing initial paperwork, our first session will be all about you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as your provider is reminding you that you are in fact the most important part of the therapeutic relationship. Well I have extensive training in evidenced-based therapies including CBT and Applied Behavior Analytics, I practice from a fundamental humanistic view that assist you in becoming an expert in your own life. Together we can accomplish great change.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love understanding and catering to the unique needs of every client I serve. I have an extensive history of working with military service members and their families, those struggling with addiction, and those interested in faith-based counseling. As I don't place a heavy emphasis on process based therapies, I work well with clients that are solution focused and eager to make meaningful change in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As an evidence-based practitioner I combine CBT with compassionate care to help you see real results. We'll work together to outline your goals and reach them using a science backed therapy model that is effective, quick acting, and long lasting. In addition to my training in CBT, I hold credentials from the Behavior Analytic Certification Board and am a certified Behavior Change Specialist. Let's make some positive changes together!

Christian Counseling

Whether you're a long time believer, new to the faith, or just curious about what Christian Counseling is all about, I am so excited you're here! If you're struggling with your faith or even practicing another religion that's okay too! Having studied many religious texts at the collegiate level, I come prepared to converse with and counsel people from all backgrounds and walks of life. While your use of Christian Counseling is not required in my practice, I am overjoyed to share this personal calling with those who wish to pursue this route.

Somatic

When was the last time you plugged your phone in? If you're like myself and most people in the modern age it's likely been within the past day. We can hardly function in the modern world without the concept of recharging. But when I asked many of my clients when the last time they recharged their body was, most of them struggle to express a concrete answer. Somatic therapy can help us tap into the process of recharging our body and can assist in multiple forms of healing, particularly when combined with other evidence-based therapies. My passion for somatic work is long standing, as I have used various types of kinesthetic therapies to effectively assist clients for the past 15 years. I've found that somatic therapy is particularly helpful for many of many of my clients who hold corporate positions or work from home. While some clients wish to engage solely in somatic therapy, others enjoy the process of incorporating it into their weekly sessions. My training in somatic therapies extends beyond traditional coursework, and I have been credentialed by the American Counsel of Exercise since 2017.
