LCSW, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
My name is Nana-Stella Eugene, and I am a licensed clinical social worker and also have a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Haiti. I am ready to work with you to identify coping strategies and teach you the skills necessary to achieve your goal of living your best life. Change begins with hope, hope for a better outcome and a glimmer of possibility that something good will come to those who believe and take action.
My mission is to assist all clients in living their best lives, despite any challenges. My vision is to promote peace and higher self-esteem by making healthier decisions to ensure a lifetime of happiness, serenity, and freedom from toxicity. Now is the best time to live your best life because happiness is indispensable.
I have worked with individuals, couples, children, and families for over 12 years, focusing on issues including depression, anxiety, juvenile delinquency, trauma, grief, and life transition. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy are some of the treatment approaches I frequently use. Most importantly, I recognize that each individual, couple, family, or group unit I work with is unique and may require a unique strategy. I excel at being flexible and tailoring approaches to their needs to help them achieve their goals. I am fluent in both English and Haitian Creole and can provide therapy in either language.
Have you been struggling with an overwhelming feeling of sadness or anger for an extended period of time? Have there been changes in your interactions with family, friends, and colleagues? Are the pressures of school, work, and family beginning to affect you physically, mentally, and emotionally? Maybe you know someone who experiences these challenges and is in need of immediate assistance. Sometimes, it's not only an individual but also a couple, family, or group of people who need help collectively. You are at the right place where challenges are met with hope. I welcome you, and I hope we can speak soon!
