Hello and welcome! Therapy with me is a space to slow down, talk things through, and feel supported in a thoughtful and comfortable way. The tone is calm, welcoming, and focused on helping things feel easier to navigate. There is room to explore what is happening, reflect on experiences, and begin to see situations with more clarity and perspective. Sessions are designed to feel steady, supportive, and genuinely helpful. This is a place to sort through what is on your mind, gain a clearer sense of direction, and feel more at ease as things start to make more sense. The focus is on helping life and relationships feel clearer, more balanced, and easier to move through, so forward momentum can feel steadier, more natural, and more grounded.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, you can expect a chance to settle in, talk things through, and get comfortable. We will focus on what feels most important right now and what you would like to see change. You will leave with a clearer sense of where things are headed and a gentle sense of what the next steps can look like.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am especially good at working with people who feel worn out, burned down by work, or tired of carrying stress for too long. Many of the people I help are dealing with pressure, overload, and that feeling of running on empty. My focus is on helping things start to feel lighter and more manageable again. My style is steady, practical, and supportive. I aim to help people get their footing back, feel more like themselves, and handle everyday life with less strain. I work with warmth and cultural understanding, so people can feel more at home, more understood, and less alone in what they’re dealing with.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I tend to work best with people who are the ones holding things together for everyone else. The ones who are responsible, capable, and used to pushing through, even when they are tired. Many come in because of work pressure, relationship strain, burnout, or that quiet sense of carrying more than feels fair. These are people who care deeply, think a lot, and often put themselves last. They may look like they are doing fine on the outside, but inside they feel worn down, stretched thin, or disconnected from the version of themselves they miss. My work is especially supportive for those who want a place where they do not have to be “on.” A place to set things down, breathe a little, and feel taken care of while finding their footing again. The goal is to help strong people feel lighter, steadier, and more like themselves, without having to prove anything or hold it all together alone.
Compassion Focused
This is a space where you can slow down, talk things through, and start to feel more supported and at ease. Sessions are designed to feel comfortable, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful without being heavy or overwhelming. The focus is on helping life and relationships feel clearer, smoother, and more manageable, so moving forward can feel lighter, steadier, and well supported.
Family Therapy
I use Family Therapy to help families break unhealthy patterns and build stronger, more supportive relationships. By improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, and fostering trust, I guide families through challenges like parenting stress, conflict, and life transitions. The goal is to create lasting change so your family feels more connected, resilient, and ready to thrive together.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I use Trauma-Focused CBT to help clients process painful experiences in a safe and structured way. This approach combines practical coping skills with gentle exploration of trauma memories to reduce distress, reframe unhelpful thoughts, and build resilience. I focus on helping clients feel grounded, regain a sense of control, and move forward with greater confidence and emotional balance.
Christian Counseling
I offer Christian Counseling for clients who want their faith to be part of the healing process. I integrate biblical principles with evidence-based therapy to address emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges. Sessions may include prayer, scripture reflection, and faith-based guidance alongside practical tools for coping and growth. This approach helps clients find comfort, purpose, and strength as they work toward emotional and spiritual well-being.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because it’s considered the gold standard for treating anxiety, depression, and many other challenges. CBT is evidence-based, practical, and highly effective because it focuses on changing unhelpful thought patterns that drive difficult emotions and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to set clear goals, build coping skills, and apply tools that create real, lasting improvements in daily life.

I been very emotional lately and I been battling with the same pattern for many years that continue to get worse and it’s effecting my life. I immediately felt a good connection with Yulia and everything she asked me is how I imagined my first session outcome to be. I look forward to more sessions with Yulia. Thank you 😌
