I am a board-certified, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), licensed in multiple states, specializing in stress management, anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, and women’s mental health. With an integrative approach that is person-centered, solution-focused, and culturally-sensitive, I aim to create a therapeutic space that fosters growth, healing, and empowerment.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, incorporating empathy, non-judgmental support, and individual accountability to help you navigate life’s challenges. Through a combination of mindfulness, goal-setting, and emotional resilience-building, we’ll work together to identify the changes that will reduce emotional disturbances and improve your overall mental well-being.

I work with clients who want to improve the way they experience life. The desire for better relationships with themselves and with others, and to gain a sense of purpose and meaning. I’ve always been interested in what drives people and believe that we can usually discover what is best for ourselves if we slow down, take the time to think things through, talk about it with a person we trust, and express the feelings we have in healthy ways—even the negative ones we may try to avoid. I use a number of therapeutic modalities in my practice, which connect thoughts to feelings and feelings to thoughts, enabling my clients to change and grow in the positive direction that they might envision for themselves. I work with clients who have struggled with addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship separation, internal conflict and conflict with others, grief and loss, and other transitions and adjustment issues. I have completed Gottman trainings, as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy, which offers a structured approach and an emotional map for couples or individuals to learn how successful couples make their relationships last and how to handle conflict in a way that prevents damage to the relationship and helps them feel better connected to their partner. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy designed to help a person unlock their nervous system to recover from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other problems that can take hold.

I have 14 years experience in the mental health field. This has mostly been in substance abuse and trauma.
My interests mostly revolve around overcoming adverse events. We are shaped by events both good and bad. I believe that a bad or harmful event does not have to totally negative consequences. Pain can lead to both wisdom and growth. A full and rich life is possible despite adverse events.
I am committed to both body based and thought based therapies. Improving the mind body connection is often the first step towards a richer and more understandable life.
Welcome, I'm so glad you've found your way here! I specialize in supporting teens and young adults as they navigate life's challenges, such as anxiety, life transitions, and relationship dynamics. Together, we'll create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and understand the aspects of yourself that may be causing internal friction. As your therapist, my goal is to guide you toward greater understanding, compassion, and self-acceptance. I believe in working together to identify and address the unique challenges that may be holding you back or keeping you stuck in unhelpful patterns.
Life isn’t easy—especially when you’ve always been the strong one everyone else depends on. From the outside, you may look like you’re holding it all together, but inside you feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, anxious, or disconnected from yourself. If you’ve spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to care for yourself, you’re not alone.

My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR to help you better understand yourself while creating meaningful, lasting change.
I believe therapy isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about reconnecting with the version of yourself that existed before anxiety, self-doubt, or past experiences convinced you otherwise. Together, we’ll create a space where you can feel seen, supported, challenged, and empowered as you build healthier patterns, stronger relationships, and a life that feels more authentic. You don’t have to carry everything by yourself anymore.
