Finding a therapist can feel personal. You want someone who will listen, understand what matters to you, and help you make meaningful changes. I’m Natalie, and I’ve spent over 10 years helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, self esteem, and life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and honest. We can explore what you have been through, recognize patterns that no longer serve you, and develop practical ways to move forward. I know that culture, identity, relationships, and lived experiences shape how each of us sees the world, so I take time to understand what those mean for you. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin.

First session

In our first session, I’ll learn about what brought you to therapy, your background, what has been difficult lately, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll talk about your concerns and begin identifying goals, even if you are still figuring out what those might be. You can share at your own pace and ask questions along the way. I’ll also explain what you can expect from me as your therapist, including confidentiality, its limits, and my responsibilities if there is a concern about your safety or someone else’s. We’ll make time to discuss any immediate safety concerns and what support you may need. My hope is that you leave feeling heard and with a clearer sense of our next steps.

Strengths

I bring warmth, curiosity, and honesty to our sessions. I want you to feel seen, valued, and heard, whether you are facing a difficult season, making sense of past experiences, or trying to understand yourself more deeply. I’ll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and gently challenge patterns when you’re ready. As a neurodivergent therapist, I understand that there is no single right way to think, communicate, or move through the world. I pay attention to how your identity, culture, relationships, and lived experiences shape what matters to you. You don’t have to explain away the parts of yourself that make you who you are. My years of working with children, adults, and families have strengthened my belief that people are capable of change and can thrive when someone believes in them. Together, we’ll recognize the strengths you already have and find practical ways to help you move toward the life you want.

Ideal clients

You might be carrying a lot and wondering when you’ll have space to take care of yourself. Maybe anxiety, past experiences, or a major life change has left you feeling stuck. You may want to feel more confident, understand your emotions, strengthen your relationships, or reconnect with who you are. You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a clear goal. I welcome people who are ready to be curious about themselves, including those who are unsure where to begin. We can make room for your culture, identity, and lived experiences while building on your strengths and finding a path forward that feels like yours.

Treatment methods

Interpersonal

Interpersonal therapy looks at how your relationships and life changes affect the way you feel. We might talk about a conflict, a loss, a change in your role, or a pattern that keeps showing up with other people. Together, we’ll explore what you need from those relationships and practice ways to communicate and connect that feel healthier for you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT, helps you notice how your thoughts, feelings, and actions affect one another. For example, if a difficult situation leads you to think “I always mess things up,” you may feel discouraged and pull away. In CBT, we look at patterns like this with curiosity and practice more helpful ways to respond. You may also try small, practical steps between sessions so you can use what you learn in everyday life.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is a way for us to explore a change you’re considering without pressure or judgment. You might feel ready to do something differently while also having good reasons to hesitate. I’ll ask questions and listen closely to help you sort through those mixed feelings, connect with what matters to you, and decide on steps that feel right for you.

Compassion Focused

Compassion focused therapy helps you respond to yourself with more understanding, especially when you are struggling with shame or a harsh inner critic. We’ll explore where those patterns come from and practice ways to feel safer and more supported within yourself. The goal is not to ignore mistakes or difficult feelings. It is to face them with the same care you might offer someone you love.
