I’m Eddie. I’m a therapist, husband, dad, and someone who has lived enough life to know that people can change. I became a father young, have experienced my own struggles with addiction and recovery, and I wasn’t always the person I am today. A lot of my life has been about learning how our physical, mental, relational, and spiritual worlds are connected, and how our past can shape us without having to define our future. Before becoming a mental health therapist, I worked in substance use treatment, which was especially meaningful because I understood some of that struggle personally. Today I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, ADHD and neurodivergence, addiction, anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, and life transitions. I’m not interested in reducing someone to a diagnosis or pretending I have life completely figured out because I’m sitting in the therapist chair. I’m another human being who has done a lot of growing myself, and I want therapy to be a place where you can be honest about who you are, understand how you got here, and figure out who you want to become.

Hi, I'm Sara. I help individuals caught in controlling and abusive relationships see through the gaslighting, reconnect with their intuition, and shift from survival to self-trust. I specialize in working with survivors of psychological, emotional, verbal, or physical abuse, narcissistic abuse, coercive control, and domestic violence. I also provide individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, infertility and perinatal mood disorders, with the tools they need to begin healing. In couple's work, my approach focuses on recognizing and unlearning disruptive patterns, learning new strategies to communicate more effectively, and rebuilding emotional safety and connection. I graduated with my M.A in Counseling from Northwestern University in 2020, and am currently a doctoral student in the Counseling Education and Supervision program at University of the Cumberlands.

We all have the opportunity in our life to start fresh. During the journey, we change, grow, heal, destroy, and can improve our lives. You will experience difficulties, and you are not alone. We are not alone in this world, but we are compelled to isolate ourselves from the fear of experiencing too much pain. I have many years of clinical training with life experiences, including successes and failures, but we are not provided a how to manual at birth. Hi, my name is Vienna Aslanian, and I have been practicing as a licensed therapist since the beginning of 2017. I chose to become a therapist after practicing in the field of social work with children and families. Witnessing the trauma and the way that trauma impacted those individual lives caused me to develop an interest in and concern for individuals struggling with PTSD and childhood trauma. Seeing the intergenerational struggles and hearing people's personal stories on the matter made me interested in the field of therapy. I have always enjoyed listening to people's stories and making a genuine connection with someone. I believe in the healing power of therapy and the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I believe in the importance of active listening and supportive guidance. I believe in the importance of empathy and nonjudgment; I value making you feel cared about and understood. I hold myself to high expectations regarding reliability and consistency in order to provide the best support and care possible. I attend training regularly on the best and most effective practices/therapeutic modalities.

I'm not just a therapist. I'm a coffee enthusiast who starts each day with a pour-over and a quiet moment before the world wakes up. I'm an outdoor lover who believes fresh air and moving my body are non-negotiable whether that's a hike, 4x4ing, hitting the resort/ backcountry, a walk with the family, or just standing in the backyard feeling the sun. And I'm a family man. A partner. A parent. Someone who knows what it's like to be pulled in ten directions and still want to show up fully for the people around me. That life outside the office isn't separate from my work. It's what keeps me refreshed, grounded, and able to come back to this chair with presence and energy. I don't just talk about balance I live it, imperfectly and intentionally. The work I've done reflects that same groundedness. I've been shaped by a wide range of experiences: residential treatment settings where the stakes were high and the progress was hard-won. Outpatient practice where life happens between sessions jobs, kids, marriages, breakdowns and breakthroughs. I've sat with clients across the entire lifespan, from geriatric patients navigating legacy and loss to teens just beginning to ask who they are. That breadth taught me something: suffering doesn't discriminate by age, and neither does healing. Whether you're sixteen or sixty, whether you're processing trauma or just trying to feel less alone, the fundamentals are the same. You want to be seen. You want to be understood. And you want a way forward that actually fits your life. That's what I'm here for.

I work with teens, emerging adults, and adults who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply wanting a better understanding of themselves. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as you are, feel heard and understood, and explore your experiences without fear of judgment. Together, we can look at the ways you think, feel, and respond to challenges, and begin to understand how those patterns may be affecting your life and relationships. My approach to therapy is warm, accepting, and collaborative. I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to healing, so I work with each client to understand their unique experiences, strengths, needs, and goals. I use evidence-based approaches and practical tools to help you build greater self-awareness, develop skills that feel meaningful and manageable, and find healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. Most importantly, I believe you already have strengths within you that can help you move forward. My role is to walk alongside you, help you uncover what may be underneath the struggles you’re experiencing, and support you in building resilience, confidence, and a deeper understanding of yourself. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re going through, and create space for meaningful change.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. My approach to therapy is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which means we will look at how your past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns shape how you feel and act today. However, human beings are complex, and a single formula does not fit everyone. I dynamically integrate multiple therapeutic techniques—drawing from cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness practices—tailoring each session to exactly what your unique situation warrants in the moment.I believe the clinical, sterile reputation of mental health care can often keep people from getting the support they deserve. Because of this, my primary goal is to demystify the therapeutic process and make our sessions feel as comfortable and natural as a genuine conversation. You do not need to worry about clinical jargon, cold assessments, or feeling like a case study. Instead, we will work as collaborative partners in a warm, down-to-earth space, talking through your challenges openly so you can understand yourself deeper and build a clearer path forward.

Welcome, and thank you for looking at my mental health provider profile. I hope we are able to work together in counseling to help you through a difficult time and improve the quality of your life. My education and experience include bachelors (Idaho State University} and master's degrees (University of British Columbia) in Social Work. I am clinically licensed in Washington and Idaho states. My background is in physical and mental health with internships in Hospice, and inpatient psychiatric hospital for severely mentally ill, and in end-of-life AIDS care. My employment has included hospital social work, emergency department social work, mental health and suicide assessments and safety planning including hospitalization, if necessary, trauma (physical and emotional), and grief and end-of-life counseling. I also did several years of private mental health practice with individuals, couples and children. Most recently I worked with high-risk adolescent youth who failed foster care and were placed by the State in residential care. I am unmarried with very close children and grandchildren. I have 3 dogs and a couple of mice-cats, and chickens for their eggs. I grew up in a military (US Marine Corp) family in California and on the east coast, eventually settling back in California. I left California for college and university then settled in rural Washington State. I enjoy the company and consultation of my sisters who are a clinical social worker and a registered nurse. I enjoy home improvement projects, training my dogs, attempts at vegetable gardening with limited success, family gatherings playing with grandchildren and grand nieces and nephews, exploring historical and cultural connections from the Appalachian Mountains, and reading books and watching movies, especially historical fiction. One of my favorite things that sustain my emotional well-being is to laugh and have fun with the people I love.

It can be difficult to find the best tools to manage life's challenges, but learning how to regulate your mind and body can significantly improve your quality of life. I'm Meghan, a Counselor specializing in Somatic-Informed Therapy. I believe that true resilience isn't just "mind over matter"—it's learning to listen to what your body is telling you. My approach combines traditional clinical insight with somatic (body-based) tools and mind-body techniques. We won't just analyze your stress; we will work to discharge it from your nervous system. Whether you are navigating something new or seeking new coping tools, I provide a grounded space to help you reconnect with yourself.

We all experience speed bumps during our life journey. Though it may seem we are "lost, “I believe the powers we are looking for are inside us. One simply needs to be heard, feel welcome in a safe place, validated and guidance toward strengthening the emotional "muscles" that have grown weak. Just as we exercise our bodies, we must exercise our Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual parts. I truly believe we cannot experience long-term health unless we pay close attention to our Mind, Body and Spirit--the whole-self. When we honor our truths, we will achieve our authentic self! I look forward to walking with you on this indescribable journey to transformation. May I offer a friendly reminder beautiful; NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF YOU

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who knows that you are much more than a diagnosis. Having spent many years working in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and with people in a variety of difficult legal and personal situations, I tend to be pretty hard to shake. I want to help support you as you seek to control the anxiety, depression, and other stressors that can feel so limiting. I begin from a place of acceptance and positive regard, and utilize evidence-based strategies in collaboration with you, to come together in a plan for meaningful growth. Also, as someone in recovery myself, I welcome those who are looking to move beyond the stifling grip of substance abuse.

I provide trauma-informed, client-centered counseling with an emphasis on somatic awareness and nervous system regulation. Clients often seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or constrained by patterns that developed in response to past experiences. My role is to support you in building safety, increasing emotional and physiological regulation, and developing the capacity for meaningful and sustainable change. My approach is integrative and outcome-focused, combining relational therapy with solution-focused and body-based interventions. Treatment is collaborative and tailored to your goals, with attention to symptom reduction, improved functioning, and increased flexibility in how you respond to internal and external stressors. Somatic therapy is a central component of my work. With training in yoga therapy, massage therapy, and body-oriented psychotherapy, I incorporate interventions such as grounding techniques, breath regulation, mindfulness practices, guided imagery, and gentle movement when clinically appropriate and with your consent. These approaches support increased interoceptive awareness, reduced trauma-related activation, and a more regulated nervous system. This work is particularly effective for individuals experiencing trauma and PTSD symptoms, anxiety, chronic stress, and disordered eating. I help clients identify and modify patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior that no longer support well-being, while also addressing the underlying physiological responses that maintain these patterns. Therapy is relational, structured, and often short- to medium-term, though length of treatment varies based on individual goals and clinical needs. Progress toward goals is reviewed regularly to ensure treatment remains effective and aligned. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and participate actively in the therapeutic process. Transparency, collaboration, and respect are foundational to my work.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
