I provide trauma-informed, skills-based therapy for adolescents (13–18) experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, school stress, and overwhelm. My approach is structured, practical, and grounded in evidence-based care. I focus on helping teens build emotional regulation skills, healthy routines, and coping strategies that support stability at home and school, while also supporting caregivers in understanding and responding to their teen’s needs consistently

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session focuses on clarity and direction. We’ll discuss current stressors, emotional patterns, and goals so teens and caregivers feel oriented and clear about next steps from the start.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is helping teens and families create emotional stability during stressful or chaotic periods. I use practical, skills-based strategies and early intervention to reduce escalation and support daily functioning.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adolescents (13–18) who feel overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or stuck in stressful school or family patterns. Parents seeking structured, practical support to help their teen regulate emotions and improve communication are often a strong fit.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The goal of CBT in my work is to reduce overwhelm and help teens feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Sessions focus on practical coping skills, problem-solving, and emotional regulation tools that teens can use at school and at home.

Family Therapy

The goal of family therapy is to reduce conflict and create calmer, more predictable family dynamics. I help teens and caregivers improve communication, clarify expectations, and practice supportive responses during stressful moments.

Motivational Interviewing

The goal of motivational interviewing is to increase engagement and support teens in making changes at their own pace. I use this approach to help teens feel heard and respected while building confidence to take small, meaningful steps forward.

Strength-Based

The goal of strength-based therapy is to help teens feel capable, supported, and less defined by their challenges. Sessions focus on identifying strengths, interests, and existing supports to build confidence and resilience over time.

Trauma-Focused CBT

The goal of trauma-focused therapy is to restore a sense of safety and emotional stability. I support teens in understanding stress responses, building regulation skills, and regaining control, with caregiver involvement when helpful.
