New to Grow
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who blends clinical structure with emotional attunement. My work is rooted in CBT+—a flexible, evidence-based framework that helps clients move from reactive cycles to intentional change. I specialize in supporting emotionally attuned but overextended individuals, teens, and families who are ready to reclaim clarity, rest, and connection. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relational stress, parenting challenges, or the impact of trauma, I offer therapy that meets you where you are. Sessions are paced, collaborative, and designed to honor your values, boundaries, and capacity. My goal is to help you feel safe, seen, and supported—without pressure to perform or rush your healing.
Your first session is a calm, structured starting point designed to meet you where you are. We’ll begin by exploring what brought you in—what’s felt heavy, what’s felt missing, and what you’re hoping to reclaim. I’ll guide you through a focused intake process that honors your pace and emotional capacity, while gathering the information we need to begin treatment. Depending on your needs, we may use brief, evidence-based checklists to clarify emotional or behavioral patterns, and if relevant, screen for trauma exposure in a respectful, routine way. For youth and families, I may observe relational dynamics to better understand how stress shows up in the system and how caregivers can support healing. Throughout the session, I’ll offer collaborative feedback—highlighting strengths, identifying therapeutic priorities, and beginning to shape a treatment plan that feels realistic and aligned with your values. You won’t be asked to perform or prove anything. Instead, you’ll be invited into a process that’s structured, emotionally attuned, and designed to support sustainable change.
My therapeutic approach is defined by a balance of clinical precision and emotional responsiveness. I integrate evidence-based modalities—including CBT+, Interpersonal Therapy, and Structured Family Therapy—through a trauma-informed lens that is both structured and responsive to each client’s emotional capacity. Sessions are collaborative and paced, designed to meet clients where they are without pressure to perform, over-explain, or relive trauma prematurely. I specialize in supporting emotionally attuned but overwhelmed individuals, teens, and caregivers—especially those navigating identity shifts, relational stress, and the invisible labor that often goes unseen. My work often strengthens caregiver-child relationships, fosters trust and open communication, and creates space for validation, re-connection, and—when appropriate—relational amends. Clients consistently report reduced shame, increased self-acceptance, improved emotional regulation, and realistic, sustainable progress. Many develop protective skills, re-frame trauma narratives, and reclaim agency in ways that feel both achievable and aligned with their values. Whether we’re building safety plans, supporting emotional recovery, or deepening relational trust, my work is designed to support lasting change—grounded in clarity, connection, and sovereignty. What stands out most is the way I create a therapeutic space that feels safe, structured, and transformative—where clients are not asked to perform, but invited to heal.
I’m best positioned to support emotionally attuned but overwhelmed teens, caregivers, and individuals navigating anxiety, relational stress, or identity shifts. My clients often seek clarity, connection, and sustainable change—without the pressure to perform or over-explain. I specialize in helping people move from rupture to repair through structured, trauma-informed therapy that respects their pace, values, and emotional capacity
CBT+ is an expanded, trauma-informed evolution of traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. As a clinician, I use this evidence-based model to help clients build emotional regulation, reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical skills for navigating life’s challenges. What sets CBT+ apart is its flexibility. It integrates core CBT strategies with enhanced tools for trauma processing, parenting support, and emotion regulation—making it especially effective for clients whose needs extend beyond symptom management. This approach is structured but never rigid, offering a balance of clinical precision and relational warmth. I specialize in supporting teens navigating anxiety, trauma, identity shifts, or behavioral challenges; parents and caregivers working to strengthen connection, boundaries, and emotional safety at home; and individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or emotionally depleted from over-functioning in systems that demanded too much and offered too little in return. Whether you're healing from trauma, rebuilding trust, or simply trying to feel more grounded, CBT+ meets you where you are and helps you move forward with compassion, clarity, and sustainable tools for change.
Structured Family Therapy is a goal-oriented, trauma-informed approach designed to help families move from reactive cycles to intentional connection. In my practice, I use this modality to clarify roles, strengthen boundaries, and reshape communication patterns—especially in families navigating conflict, transitions, or relational stress. Guided by the CBT+ framework, sessions are collaborative and paced to ensure each member feels seen and safe. I help caregivers and youth identify stuck dynamics, build emotional regulation skills, and practice new ways of relating that support healing and trust. This approach is especially effective for families experiencing rupture, role shifts, or emotional disconnection. Whether a caregiver feels overwhelmed or a child feels misunderstood, Structured Family Therapy offers a clear path toward restoring clarity, connection, and emotional safety at home.
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a highly structured, evidence-based modality designed to strengthen the parent-child relationship while improving child behavior. In my practice, I use PCIT to support families navigating emotional dysregulation, behavioral escalation, or strained attachment—especially when caregivers feel stuck in cycles of frustration or disconnection. Guided by the CBT+ framework, PCIT combines live coaching with skill-building to help caregivers respond with clarity, consistency, and compassion. Sessions focus on co-regulation, emotional attunement, and practical strategies for creating safe, responsive environments at home. This approach is especially effective with parents of young children who need support in setting boundaries, reframing power struggles, and helping their child feel safe, understood, and empowered. PCIT offers a clear path toward healing, connection, and sustainable change—one interaction at a time.
TF-CBT is a structured, evidence-based approach designed to help children, adolescents, and their caregivers process traumatic experiences with clarity, safety, and emotional attunement. In my practice, I use TF-CBT to support youth and families navigating early relational trauma, chronic stress, or identity-based rupture—tailoring each step to the client’s readiness and capacity. Guided by CBT+ principles, TF-CBT blends cognitive behavioral strategies with trauma-sensitive techniques to build coping skills, reframe trauma-related thoughts, and strengthen caregiver-child connection. Sessions are paced and collaborative, balancing structure with emotional safety. Whether we’re working through trauma narratives, building emotional regulation, or restoring trust at home, TF-CBT offers a clear, compassionate path from survival to resilience.
