Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I begin by understanding each client's unique needs through a comprehensive intake and accurate assessment. Together, we define what is needed from the therapeutic relationship and collaboratively set goals for therapy. I ensure regular check-ins to assess progress and adjust as needed, all while moving at a pace and level of comfort that feels right for you. During our first session, we’ll begin with a client intake, where I’ll learn about your background, concerns, and goals. We’ll also start an in-depth assessment, which may take more than one session, to understand your upbringing and family dynamics. This foundational work helps us build a clear picture of your experiences and needs, setting the stage for a personalized and meaningful therapeutic journey. I look forward to meeting you soon. If you don't see availability that works for you, reach out to me LianaMFT @ outlook.com. I will work on getting you on the on the schedule.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My passion is helping women navigate a variety of life’s challenges, including family conflict, self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, and grief, just to name a few. I take a holistic approach that considers not only the individual but also the entire family system. Using evidence-based techniques, I work with clients to uncover underlying patterns that influence relationships and personal well-being, providing strategies designed for lasting change. My approach integrates family systems theory, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and solution-focused therapy to support growth and resilience. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, families, and women, often those of Christian faith. I understand the importance of weaving faith and spirituality into the healing process, creating a compassionate space where psychology and faith intersect. I’m particularly passionate about helping clients work through personal challenges, relationship issues, and complex family dynamics. My goal is to guide clients toward emotional, relational, and spiritual health through strategies grounded in both Christian principles and holistic therapeutic practice. My communication style is compassionate, caring, and understanding. I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel supported and heard. Working with me feels like having a trusted ally—someone who listens deeply, respects your perspective, and gently guides you toward growth and healing. My journey to becoming a therapist began 17 years ago when I experienced the transformative power of therapy firsthand. The profound healing I found through my own therapeutic experience inspired me to pursue this calling. With a leap of faith, I applied to a Master of Science program and was accepted just one weekend before the deadline. Although I had built a successful career in business, I discovered that my true purpose was helping others find healing and meaning through therapy.
