New to Grow
Yes, I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 13 years of experience — but first, I’m a human who understands that life can feel overwhelming, confusing, and deeply challenging at times. Therapy isn’t just about talking to someone; it’s about working with someone who understands how complex and challenging life can be. I show up exactly where you are, a safe space free of judgement and profound understanding. I work with adults facing anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, and the quiet internal battles that don’t always show on the outside. Many of the people I see are capable and responsible, yet feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or unsure how to move forward. I’m deeply dedicated to meeting people exactly where they are — without judgment — while also helping them grow. Therapy with me isn’t just about talking; it’s about understanding yourself more clearly and learning tools you can begin using immediately. I blend practical strategies with deeper emotional work so that insight turns into real-life change. My goal is to help you feel more steady, more self-aware, and more confident navigating your relationships and your life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is focused on clarity and comfort. We’ll begin by discussing what brought you to therapy and what you hope will feel different in your life. I’ll ask questions about your current stressors, personal history, and any patterns you’ve noticed in your thoughts, emotions, or relationships. This is not an interrogation — it’s a collaborative conversation. My goal is to understand your concerns while also helping you begin to see themes and connections that may not yet be fully clear. We’ll talk about your goals and what progress would look like for you. If appropriate, we may introduce a few practical tools you can begin using right away. You’ll leave the first session with a clearer understanding of our direction and a sense of how we’ll move forward together. Most importantly, the first session is about establishing safety and fit. You deserve to feel comfortable, respected, and understood in therapy.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is balancing insight with structure. I help clients connect present challenges to deeper emotional patterns while also providing practical tools for change. Therapy with me is not passive, we actively work toward measurable growth. I bring a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens to my work, helping clients understand how early experiences may influence current reactions, relationship dynamics, and self-beliefs. At the same time, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral strategies to support emotional regulation and cognitive flexibility. Clients often share that they feel both supported and challenged in our sessions. I aim to create a grounded, steady space while also encouraging forward movement. My style is warm, direct, and thoughtful. I am particularly skilled at identifying repeating relational patterns and helping clients build greater emotional clarity and confidence. Whether we are working on anxiety, relationship stress, or personal growth, my focus remains on sustainable change, not just short-term symptom relief.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults who are ready to better understand themselves and make intentional changes. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, overthinking, relationship stress, or repeating patterns they can’t quite untangle. They often feel capable and responsible in their careers or families, yet privately carry self-doubt, emotional exhaustion, or difficulty setting boundaries. My ideal clients are curious about their internal world. They may be navigating attachment wounds, relationship conflicts, or life transitions that have stirred deeper questions about identity, purpose, or direction. They want more than surface-level coping skills — they want clarity, emotional stability, and healthier relational dynamics. Some come to therapy feeling stuck in cycles of rumination or people-pleasing. Others are recovering from emotionally complex or unhealthy relationships and want to rebuild their sense of self. Many are working to shift long-standing anxiety patterns and create stronger emotional regulation. I work well with individuals who are open to exploring both practical strategies and deeper emotional themes. Therapy with me is collaborative — we identify goals, track progress, and build tools — while also honoring the impact of past experiences on current behavior. If you are motivated for change, willing to reflect honestly, and ready to move toward greater stability and confidence, we would likely be a good fit.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundation to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, CBT is integrated with trauma-informed and emotion-focused approaches, allowing us to not only shift unhelpful patterns but also explore the deeper experiences that shaped them. My goal is to provide practical tools while creating a safe space for meaningful, lasting change.
Attachment-based
I use attachment-based therapy to help clients understand how early relational experiences influence current relationship patterns, emotional regulation, and self-perception. This approach is especially helpful for individuals struggling with relationship anxiety, trust issues, or fear of abandonment. Together, we work to build secure internal foundations and healthier relational dynamics.
Existential
I use existential therapy to help clients explore meaning, identity, life transitions, and personal responsibility. This approach supports individuals who are questioning their direction, navigating major life changes, or seeking deeper alignment with their values. In my practice, existential work is integrated with structured interventions to help clients move from insight into intentional action
Eclectic
My approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities including CBT, attachment-based work, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I adapt interventions based on the client’s goals, symptoms, and lived experiences to create personalized and sustainable change.
Hypnotherapy
I incorporate clinical hypnotherapy to help clients access deeper patterns that may not be fully reachable through talk therapy alone. Hypnotherapy can support anxiety reduction, trauma processing, habit change, and emotional regulation by working with the subconscious mind in a structured and safe manner. Sessions are collaborative and grounded in evidence-based therapeutic practice.
