I am a mental health therapist (LPC) from Texas with 3+ years of experience. I help clients cope and process through concerns related to depression, anxiety, life transitions, LGBTQ+, relationship issues, social anxiety/panic, and trauma. Life brings inevitable ups and downs. As a therapist, I feel honored to foster a safe space which allows for an intentional and non-judgemental relationship to develop. This allows my clients to dig deep and discover incredible growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will ask my clients a few questions about their presenting concerns, treatment history, goals, and payment/insurance questions. I will listen to my client's story and over time trust and rapport will build, allowing for self-acceptance, deep processing, and meaningful change.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I do not hide that I'm human, flawed, and working on myself! I also truly want the best for my clients and work to encourage them and equip them with skills so they can succeed in their life goals. I will stand by my clients through the waves of healing.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am equipped to help my clients learn about ways to handle the daily stressors of life and how to identify their emotions with various techniques. We may learn about distress tolerance, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Gender-affirming therapy

I build rapport with my client and help them identify negative thinking patterns (cognitive distortions) that many LGBTQ+ people struggle with in everyday life.

Narrative

Part of the processing is accepting the role we may play in life due to our circumstances. I work with my clients to unravel their story and all the complexities or concerns with special consideration towards gender identity, sexual orientation, life transitions, and trauma.

Trauma Informed Care

With experience working alongside clients with trauma, both "minor" or complex it may seem, and create space to accept difficult emotions and truths that my client could have forgotten.

Humanistic

At the base of my work, my client is a love-needing, basic need-deserving, and dream-reaching person. Strength comes from the ability to dig deep and look inside and out.
