I have been a counselor for over 20 years. I have worked with clients who range from 5 to 85. I believe the most important aspect of counseling is feeling comfortable with the counselor. You need to be able to trust who you are working with has your best interest at heart and genuinely listens to help meet your therapeutic goals. If I am not the right fit for you, I will assist you in finding the right counselor.
To help clients make tangible progress, I often assign practical exercises or "homework" that promote movement toward their personalized goals. By encouraging clients to actively engage with the therapeutic process outside of sessions, I help them integrate the skills they’ve learned into their daily lives, promoting sustained growth and long-term change.
Key strengths often include resilience—the ability to bounce back from adversity and adapt to change. Compassion is another powerful strength, as it fosters meaningful connections and empathy toward others. Integrity, the commitment to honesty and strong moral principles, builds trust and reliability in relationships.
My approach is built on the belief that every person has the capacity to change, heal, and grow, no matter how challenging their circumstances may be. I will offer you the tools, support, and guidance necessary to foster personal transformation and emotional resilience. I pride myself on maintaining a compassionate, confidential, and client-centered practice, where individuals are empowered to achieve their goals in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
