As a third year Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am afforded the opportunity to help guide you on that journey. My goal is to help you achieve your best self through a way that is comfortable for you. Through meaningful conversations, that goal can certainly be achieved!
Authenticity is definitely a for sure thing you can expect from me. I truly believe that when we can be our true selves, or allow ourselves to venture on that journey, we allow great things to follow. In our first session, you can also expect for us to lay the foundation for a healthy client, therapist relationship. It is of the utmost importance to feel like "hey, I can talk to her and be real." If time permits in that first session, I will get to know what brings you to therapy. This will allow me to develop a plan that is tailored to your needs.
Having started my counseling career in education, I feel my greatest strength as a provider has been the ability to connect with my clients in a way that they feel safe in a therapeutic relationship with me. I learned that my authentic self helps me do the best work for those that need it most and at the time they are seeking services.
I love working with clients who would like to explore or are ready to have an honest conversation. Does that mean it's easy? No way! But when the readiness and willingness are ever so slightly present, that is the first step in the right direction. We celebrate that, and every step along the way.

EMDR utilizes eye movement and bilateral stimulus to reprocess traumatic memories in order to help heal and move forward in a healthy way.
CBT allows us to look at behaviors and thoughts using talk therapy to help manage them and allow an opportunity to change our thoughts and behaviors.
