About me

Hello! I am an LPC licensed in Texas. I have been working as a school counselor for 5 years and have had experience in the following areas: school, career, trauma, anxiety, military, special needs children, and suicidal ideations. I have worked with clients from 6 years old all the way up to 19 years old and have been able to see them blossom and I am looking forward to working with you! By the way. . .I am also bilingual (Spanish and English)!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My first session with you will be to view what you need and also what your goals (what you would like to get out of therapy). We will also speak about confidentiality, fees, paperwork and any other questions that you may have just to make sure that everything is out in the open. If you agree that I am a good fit for you, then we can proceed to our next session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I feel that my greatest strengths as a therapist are as follows: empathy, communication, and listening.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve anyone, regardless of age, who is in need of the following: school, career, trauma, anxiety, military, special needs children, and suicidal ideation.

Serves ages

Children (6 to 12)Teenagers (13 to 17)

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), I allow patients to reflect on the choices that have been done and what other choices that could have been made. Then from those choices, what the outcome could have been and let the patient decide which outcome would have been better.

Trauma Informed Care

Using Trauma Informed Care, understanding the background of the patient to understand why he/she is making the present choices. Once the understanding happens, then the patient can begin to move forward.

Gestalt

The empty chair technique is used in Gestalt therapy to address unresolved issues, conflicts, and emotions.

She was actually the first therapist I chose not knowing how it would go. I just think she is so good at her job. I can’t wait to continue sessions with her. She is the sweetest.

She's an amazing therapist who has experienced a wide range of situations and has guided me in understanding my children and myself. She's honest and direct, always telling it like it is. Thanks to her, my relationship has improved, my marriage has been saved, and I've grown as an individual.
