I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about counseling and helping people find ways of navigating life’s ups and downs. I received my master’s degree from Grand Canyon University, and I have always loved helping people. I help young adults and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and attachment issues overcome their distressing problems and achieve their desired life goals.
In our first session together, we will build rapport and trust in each other and begin work in those particular areas that are central to your distressing thoughts and emotions. This will guide me in creating a plan that caters to your specific needs that will serve as a guide for our subsequent sessions together.
My work with young adults and adults over the past 4 years has equipped me with evidence-based methods that will help me identify your specific needs and create a workable plan that will help you become unstuck and moving again toward those dreams that you may have once thought unachievable. Together, we will work toward your desired life goals and achieve them in the face of past challenges.

I have used CBT in my practice over the last 4 years. It is a structured approach that has helped many of my clients to quickly identify reoccurring negative thought patterns and overcome their issues with anxiety and depression. Together, we will use CBT to challenge and change your troubling thought patterns, which will ultimately help you lead a more fulfilling life with less stress and the potential to achieve your desired life goals.
I have used EMDR over the last 2 in my practice years to help my trauma or abuse clients manage their recurring negative thoughts or emotional distress related to their trauma incidents. In therapy, we will work together using techniques that can cause a shift in your thoughts, feelings, or beliefs regarding the event. This can then lead to a less anxious and stressed life and more healthy thought patterns and feelings about yourself and your life purpose.
I have used Mindfulness-based Therapy over the last 4 years in my practice to help clients focus on present moment awareness, meditation, and breathing exercises. I have learned over the years that where your attention goes, your energy goes also. During sessions, I will often combine MBT with CBT and use it to teach clients to be in the here and now and to break away from negative thought patterns that can cause a depressed state of mind. Together, we will work to improve your mood by practicing meditation and other mindfulness exercises that will help you find healthy ways to respond to difficult situations. This approach will ultimately help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
