Therapy is a deliberate process of understanding and change. My role is to create a structured yet supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, clarify their goals, and develop lasting solutions. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance grounded in trust, respect, and collaboration.I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Over the past decade, I have worked with adults, adolescents, and families across diverse settings, including hospitals and the criminal justice system. My practice integrates psychodynamic insight with cognitive-behavioral techniques, and I am EMDR-trained with particular experience helping clients recover from trauma and manage anxiety. Treatment is always tailored to the individual, drawing on evidence-based methods to promote meaningful, measurable progress. Outside of clinical work, I enjoy coffee, college football, time with my dogs, travel, and collecting mechanical watches.
In our first session, I conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your background, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. This allows us to develop a clear, collaborative treatment plan focused on your specific goals.
With over ten years of specialized experience treating depression, anxiety, and trauma, I bring depth of clinical knowledge and a pragmatic, results-oriented approach. I am committed to evidence-based practice and work efficiently toward tangible change rather than indefinite support. Clients benefit from my ability to integrate different therapeutic modalities, my familiarity with complex systems and populations, and my steady focus on helping people move from insight to real-world improvement.
I love working with young professionals who are struggling with the after effects of a trauma, or who are experiencing recurrent problems with anxiety.
