New to Grow
Hello, my name is Rachel and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Choosing to begin therapy can be extremely difficult, so congratulations on taking the first step. I specialize in the following modalities: Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Approach and Narrative approach. As an African American female, I understand the significance of intersectionality and how vital client centered care is.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session we will begin to build rapport through completing biopsychosocial assessment so I can get to know you as a whole person, obtain your background and set out goals of treatment.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I’ve been told by many clients and colleagues that I am very personable with a deep commitment to holistic and culturally attuned care. I am diligent in remaining client centered and creating a safe and nonjudgmental space.
