New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, ADHD-related concerns, and patterns that leave them feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I aim to create a therapy space that is collaborative, grounded, practical, and emotionally honest while helping clients build greater self-awareness, resilience, balance, and confidence in their daily lives. My approach is trauma-informed, individualized, and focused on helping clients better understand themselves while developing healthier coping patterns, emotional regulation skills, and more sustainable ways of navigating everyday challenges and relationships. Outside of therapy, I value family life, community involvement, and spending time outdoors, which continue to shape my appreciation for balance, resilience, and meaningful connection.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying the goals, patterns, stressors, or challenges most important to you. I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being honest without fear of judgment or pressure. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable while beginning to build a clear understanding of what support would be most helpful for you moving forward.
Clients often describe me as approachable, grounded, direct, and easy to talk to. I work to balance empathy and validation with practical feedback, skill-building, and collaborative problem-solving. My approach is trauma-informed and individualized rather than overly rigid or one-size-fits-all. I especially enjoy working with individuals who may appear highly functional externally while internally struggling with anxiety, stress, emotional disconnection, self-criticism, relationship difficulties, or burnout. I aim to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen coping patterns, improve communication, and develop a greater sense of clarity, stability, and agency in their lives.
I work best with adults and young professionals who may appear highly capable on the outside while internally struggling with anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, self-criticism, relationship challenges, life transitions, or feeling emotionally stuck. Many of my clients are motivated for change and want a therapy experience that is collaborative, practical, grounded, and emotionally honest. I aim to help clients better understand themselves, improve coping patterns, strengthen relationships, and move toward a greater sense of balance, clarity, and agency.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and stress responses. In practice, this often involves identifying patterns that keep people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or self-critical, while building practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, decision-making, and behavior change. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and adapted to the individual rather than overly rigid or worksheet-driven.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I use trauma-focused approaches to help clients safely process difficult experiences while developing a greater sense of emotional stability, self-understanding, and resilience. My work emphasizes nervous system awareness, emotional regulation, coping skills, and helping clients understand how past experiences may continue to affect current relationships, stress responses, and patterns of behavior. I aim to move at a pace that feels collaborative, supportive, and manageable for each individual.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood without judgment. My person-centered approach focuses on creating a supportive environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and goals while developing greater self-awareness, confidence, and clarity. I strive to balance empathy and validation with practical feedback and collaborative problem-solving.
