Hi! I'm Elizabeth, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I practice in the state of PA. I provide psychiatric medication management for treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, postpartum mental conditions, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, insomnia, among other mental health conditions. I am glad that you're seeking help to improve your quality of life. I also love to educate and collaborate as a team to find your optimal care. I am passionate about working with women, Christians, and those from different cultures. You can read more info on my website at impakpsychiatry.com.
During the initial 60 minute evaluation, we will discuss history and symptoms to gain clarity on diagnosis to guide our treatment plan moving forward. I will provide my diagnostic impression as well as evidence based treatment recommendations. The follow up visits will be 30 minutes to review medication response, side effects and risk/benefits. We will also discuss different stressors that are affecting your state of mind and ways to cope. I fully believe in a collaborative model to equip you in making decisions for your mental health care.
My goal is to empower you so that you can live your best life. If you are feeling stuck, I can provide an evaluation to clarify your diagnosis and treatment plan. My hope is to minimize medication use while optimizing your quality of life. I aim to provide compassionate and personalized care.
I am passionate about empowering and working with women and moms, as it relates to perinatal mental health issues including postpartum depression/anxiety, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), fertility issues, and hormonal changes. As an Asian American Christian, I love to work with clients of different cultures and religions to navigate through mental health.
