New clients continue care with this provider

Life doesn’t come with a manual—and when you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself, it can be hard to know where to turn. I’m Daniel Snock, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges with honesty, compassion, and a bit of humor. I offer virtual therapy throughout Pennsylvania, meeting you where you are—literally and emotionally. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and other evidence-based techniques to support you in making real, lasting changes. Whether you're facing anxiety, ADHD, relationship struggles, burnout, or something harder to name, we’ll work together to make sense of it. In our sessions, you can expect real talk, practical tools, and a safe space to be fully yourself. We'll face the hard stuff, but we’ll also laugh, reflect, and build something better. You don’t have to figure everything out alone. If you're ready to show up for yourself, I’m ready to walk alongside you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other in a calm, supportive space. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you (or your teen) to therapy, your background, and what you hope to get out of our work together. There’s no pressure to say everything at once—this is your space, and we’ll go at your pace. We’ll begin exploring what’s working and what’s not, and I’ll offer observations and possible next steps. My goal is to make you feel heard and understood from day one, while building a strong foundation for the work ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a balance of compassion, honesty, and practical insight to therapy. My clients often tell me they feel comfortable being themselves—no masks, no pressure. I believe therapy works best as a team effort grounded in collaboration, transparency, and a shared commitment to growth. Whether I’m working with adults, teens, or families, I show up with warmth, curiosity, and a sense of humor. I’m skilled at helping people unpack what feels overwhelming, reconnect with themselves, and take steps toward meaningful change. I don’t offer quick fixes, but I do offer real support—for whatever comes up.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults and teens navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. This includes anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum conditions, personality disorders (including BPD), and mood-related concerns. I also support individuals coping with burnout, chronic illness, grief, and high-conflict relationships. With teens, I help address issues such as emotional regulation, school avoidance, peer conflict, self-esteem, and family tension. I understand the unique challenges teens face today and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can explore and grow. I also have deep experience working with caregivers, first responders, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I'm especially attuned to those who feel misunderstood or like they don’t quite fit the mold. Whether you're navigating identity, stress, trauma, or life transitions, I tailor support to meet you where you are.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. In my practice, I work with clients to help them recognize and challenge unhelpful thoughts, develop healthier thinking patterns, and implement practical strategies to manage symptoms. This approach empowers clients to make lasting changes by addressing both the thoughts and actions that influence their mental well-being.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations in the present moment, without judgment. In my practice, I guide clients in using mindfulness techniques—such as deep breathing, meditation, and body scanning—to reduce stress, increase emotional regulation, and enhance self-compassion. By cultivating mindfulness, clients can break free from automatic reactions and develop a more balanced and peaceful mindset, improving both mental and physical well-being.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a client-centered, goal-oriented approach that helps individuals explore and resolve ambivalence about making changes. In my practice, I use MI to help clients tap into their intrinsic motivation and strengthen their commitment to change. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations, I create a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to take action toward their goals, whether it's improving mental health, managing addictions, or making lifestyle changes. MI helps clients build confidence in their ability to make meaningful changes.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a practical, strengths-based approach that focuses on finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems. In my practice, I help clients identify their strengths, resources, and past successes to develop realistic, future-oriented goals. By asking questions that highlight what’s working, I guide clients to envision a preferred future and create actionable steps to achieve it. SFBT is a collaborative and time-limited approach, ideal for clients who are seeking quick, tangible improvements in their lives.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation involves providing clients with information about mental health, coping strategies, and the psychological processes affecting their well-being. In my practice, I use psychoeducation to help clients understand their symptoms, the underlying causes of their struggles, and effective ways to manage or overcome them. By educating clients about topics like stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma, I empower them with knowledge to make informed decisions, reduce self-blame, and enhance their ability to cope with challenges. This approach supports long-term growth and resilience.
